I guess if we want to read the info regarding the game, we can read it on the box as we purchase it. Hopefully it will at least be published by then.

You know what I find slightly disturbing about that? The fact that I asked on the Ubi Forum and none of the moderators could give us this info, but a third party site had the info in abundance. What gives?

    öhhh GTX 680 = R9 290X??
wtf is wrong with you Ubisoft??
    the GTX 680 is slightly slower than a R 280X, why we need a R9 290X & Nividia user only a GTX 680??

    GTX 780ti = R9 290X

    ohh Ubisoft....

Because besides from being Greedy and enjoying amnesty from selling crappy and unfinished console ports, they also make money from Nvida & AMD if they push their High End cards onto people... all in the name of Marketing your products and having decent (read: gullible) people believing what you read and post.on the internet.

Seems reasonable if it's correct. I'm above recommended for once, unlike Unity where I don't meet the minimum requirements.

    Thanks for the info...
This is a bit of an 'our bad'.

To Explain: We were given the confirmed minimum requirements a few days ago, and have been working on an official announcement that was planned to go live later this week (tomorrow, if I remember correctly). There are a few steps that we need to take care of prior to releasing this information, most notably copy editing the news article and getting it localized.

Alas, there was some confusion on the announcement dates because this promotion is for multiple Ubisoft titles, and the Far Cry 4 system requirements were released ahead of schedule. You could probably best describe it as an 'official leak' (as weird as that may sound).

So yes, these are the official system requirements, and it is an honest mistake that they were released on the Nvidia website before they were announced by a Ubisoft source. We're sorry about any confusion, and we'll try and make sure it doesn't happen again.
