    Anno 2070 Activation

    Hello Ubisoft

    I have a problem with Anno 2070
    when i start it, it says that i have activated the product and that i need to shutdown anno2070 to let the autopatcher download the addon.
    the autopatcher starts, doesn't see anything new, downloads nothing and starts the game again.
    I still get the same message saying my addon is activated and that i need to reboot the game to play.
    this goes on for repeat and i can't play my game
    I bought the complete edition through steam.
    What do i do now?

    AS far as i can see it, the problem is not steam related. it's the ubisoft launcher, the updater or anno2070 itself

    Have you tried to re-install Uplay?

    After uninstalling the software, you will need to manually delete any leftover files in the C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher (32-bit versions of Windows) or C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher (64-bit versions of Windows). Please do not skip this step, it is very important. If this folder does not exist, please download the latest version here http://uplay.ubi.com/

    Try the following steps only if you can locate the exact files. Please attempt this at your own risk if any files are no present, edited, changed, modified or in different location.

    1.) Locate the ANNO2070 game folder on the system
    **Default Location C:\Program Files(x86)\Ubisoft\Anno 2070
    **Location Varies depending on installation process
    2.) Delete the file “Autopatcher.exe” that is in the folder
    3.) Rename “Autopatcher.exe_swap” to Autopatcher.exe
    4.) Close out and reopen the Uplay client to start the game

    Be sure to verify the game cache in steam's local files. If you have not done so already, please submit a Support ticket with your dxdiag and msinfo attached.

    For me there is nor Autopatcher.exe_swap Can anyone give me a link to download the exe manual?
