Congrats all! I was hoping to push this one over 70k this weekend, but ended up focusing on trying to unlock my remaining bonus songs instead. (I started over and got 4 already...) Can't wait to see what the 3rd week selection brings us!

Sweet!!! I seriously would never have figured out all the intricacies of the choruses on that song without the challenge prodding me on

Yeah AoD, let us know, and when you post the week 3 challenge thread remember to put the arrangement in the title like MrKev1n did this week. That makes it a lot easier than wading through all the rules to figure out what the arrangement is.

We have only one change to the rules from last week proposed in the rules thread. If stringfiend is on he can update the main rules thread, but don't let that stop you from getting the challenge thread started since the only real difference is Expert level players can throw in both a score for non-MM and one for MM.

Oh so it was the challenge that helped you figure out the chorus intricacies? :P

And I would like to publicly thank cgeorg who tabbed the whole thing out and shared it with me, otherwise I also never would have gotten it

That was fun. Was a difficult song that I hadn't played before and was a good way to push myself. Wish I had more time last week, but now at least I have that song to a point where it's mainly the solo that I have problems with and the rest is a lot of fun to play. I do get confused with the chorus sections as well, but that's getting better.

If you write out the tab for each of the 4 sections of the chorus, you will see they follow a similar pattern, and then you just need to remember the variations. It helped me a lot to write them like this:

    Chorus 1 2 and 3, sections 1 and 4 are the same:

    0-3-4-0-6-7-0-10-0-6-7-0-5-3-4

    Section 2:
    Chorus 1: 0-3-4-0-6-7-0-10-0-5-7-0-5-0-4-5
    Chorus 2: 0-4-5-0-5-7-0-10-0-5-7-0-5-0-4-5
    Chorus 3: 0-4-5-0-5-7-0-10-0-5-7-0-5-0-4-5

    Section 3:
    Chorus 1: 0-4-5-0-7-9-0-10-0-7-9-0-5-0-5-4
    Chorus 2: 0-4-5-0-7-5-0-10-0-7-9-0-5-0-5-4
    Chorus 3: 0-3-4-0-7-9-0-10-0-7-9-0-5-3-5-4

As you can, pretty minor differences. It can be tough to remember them at speed, but once you understand the base for each section, the modifications are easier to hit.

Cgeorg, I think you got Chorus 3 Section 3 wrong. I think it is:

    0-3-4-0-7-9-0-10-0-7-9-0-3-5-5-4

Judging by your streak, you play it correctly, I'm just thinkin' maybe you wrote it down wrong.

If not, then I have been doing it wrong.

Edit: Cgeorg was correct, I am wrong.
