@SASIncrement: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proxy_server - basically allows me to appear to a site as if I'm from a different country and IP, usually used for bypassing restrictions (like getting around most schools' restrictions on sites like Myspace) or for masking where you're from (which was what I was trying to use it for - wasn't working at all, though).
Also, I am incredibly envious of your download/upload speeds. Fastest in my area is only 25/1 (which I have).
