I haven't seen that many bands with female singers in Rocksmith, there's some good personality out there, here's some suggestions :

Garbage. Lots of great songs, great b-sides. They've had songs in guitar games before, also have a new album coming in May.
Elastica. Alt-rock band of the 90s. Some very nice songs. Never Here is a great one.
Melissa Auf Der Maur. She's known for playing bass for Hole and The Smashing Pumpkins, now solo. This would also be a good choice for a Bass song once you have the option in the game.
    Die Mannequin. Punk/Rock Canadian band.

Rocksmith already has an amazing tracklist but it needs some more Metal and Punk. I know content may be a problem, along with licensing, but Rocksmith is a fantastic learning tool and these genres have alot to teach. Perhaps you guys deliver songs with more appropriate content and/or have some sort of disclaimer for the ones with questionable content. Here are my suggestions. Hopefully I'll see a few of these.

    Protest the Hero
    Genghis Tron
    Agoraphobic Nosebleed
    Black Flag
    The Faceless
    Majority Rule
    Electric Wizard
    The End
Fear Before (the March of Flames)
    Animals As Leaders
    Exotic Animal Petting Zoo
    Admiral Angry
    The Dillinger Escape Plan
    Pig Destroyer
    Poison the Well
    Pulling Teeth
    Norma Jean
    War From a Harlots Mouth

    Here's my other suggestions.

    Mumford & Sons
    Fleet Foxes
    Circa Survive
    Dance Gavin Dance
    Grizzly Bear
    Other Lives
    Mariee Sioux
    The Avett Brothers
    Alberta Cross
    As Tall As Lions
    The Fall of Troy
    Coheed and Cambria
    Brand New
    The Mars Volta
    Elliot Smith
    The Flaming Lips
    Iron & Wine
    The Joy Formidable
    Neutral Milk Hotel
    Red Sparrowes
    Sleepy Sun
    Sufjan Stevens
    The Yeah Yeah Yeahs

I'm a huge Rammstein fan so a band pack from them would be sweet. Also love Soundgarden so I would by a pack from them. Some Smashing Pumpkins would be great. A band pack for the Eagles or individual songs.

    The dead...

Not sure if anyone else has suggested it, but some grateful dead would be nice to see on the setlist...
maybe some "new grass" kind of stuff like yonder mountain string band or string cheese incident.
