    After tinkering around the forums trying to figure out how to activate perfect water, I changed hardwareshaders=0 to =1 in my conf.ini file, but my framerate took a huge hit. Running the kamikaze.trk track, the game turns into a slideshow during certain scenes. I knew water=3 would drop the framerate but for a game that is supposed to run well on a 6800, I found this a little odd.

    I'm running a P4 3.4HT, 2.5G RAM, BFG 7900GTX OC using Forceware 93.71, 1024x768x32 resolution, PF version 4.04 standalone

    From what I've read on the forum, and from benchmarks online, the 7900GTX is supposed to run the game smoothly. I can't provide a FPS figure since pressing ~ for some reason doesn't bring up the console.

    PS: I also get the black circles that other people seem to encounter also.

    UPDATE: I tinkered with some of the nvidia display settings, and installed the NGOHQ 2.9792 driver. The black circles have been removed and the frame rate has improved significantly. I still get occaisional stuttering though, like when the F4Us fly over the forested area in the F4Utt track. Does anyone else with a 7900GTX have any experience running other drivers, or is the NGOHQ driver the best one so far? Also should I be running S3TC compression or is it insignificant for the video card I have?
