    Can somebody tell me how can i enable mechanical gunsight on zero planes (not the tinted dimmed reticule?)

    you can't. It's modelled for cockpit accuracy, but it's non-functional.

    no, it flips up when you are hit in the nose, and your reflector side is still OK !

    my reflector sight is invisible...i dont have anything on my "hud"...on wildcat, everything is ok

    What "hud"? there's no heads up display unless you're in no-cockpit mode.

    Yes, I have had the gun sight damaged in a zero and the iron sights flipped down. Unfortunately it did nothing to alleviate the problem of the many, many P-40 delivered fifty cal. rounds impacting my a$$ so it wasn't really of much use.
