There was a time when 2D Mario was Nintendo's bread and butter. But we're in the Switch's second year, no news about a new 2D Mario and NSMBU was ported instead. So my goal in this post is to find out what people feel about Super Mario Maker becoming the status quo for 2D Mario games. Are you okay with it, because it basically means infinite levels and love the builder aspect of it, or are you going to miss Nintendo's level quality and expertise? Do you think the two are able to coexist moving forward? Let's finally start some discussion in this sub.

As other users pointed out, the Nintendo 64 and the GameCube didn't have 2D Mario, and it didn't release shortly after the launch of some of the consoles that did have it. I've corrected the mistake and hopefully we can continue the discussion.reverse phone lookup
