    Features

    Career Mode

Learn the skills it takes to master the tracks that Trials has to offer. In the Career mode you will be attending the University of Trials, in which you are going to take on a series of training programs that will teach you how to overcome various obstacles of increasing difficulty. Use these to dominate the various events and track locations provided to earn medals, coin and fame. Success in completing these tracks will earn you more advanced bikes and unlock more events as you progress.

    Contracts:

In the career you will be approached by several sponsors as you become more famous. Complete their contracts in order to earn in game currency, as well as customization and fame.

[Screenshot of Redlynx Sponsor with message]

    Challengers:

After reaching level 24 you will be able to participate in the Challenger series. You will have 3 attempts to beat three different ghosts on a randomly chosen track. These ghost will be taken from the leaderboards depending on your personal best. If you manage to beat all three you will be rewarded with a Challenger crate that includes three customization items from any rarity.

    Local Multiplayer

[Picture of local mp match with 4 people on screen]
This multiplayer mode allows you to play locally on the same screen with up to four of your friends using multiple controllers. You can also use the special Tandem bike on the career tracks in order to play them together with a friend on the same bike. Sounds crazy? Grab a friend and try it, not only is it crazy but also super fun!

    Online Multiplayer

Compete against other players online around the world or with your friends in ranked or private multiplayer matches.
Ranked mode is split into monthly seasons. You will be ranked in divisions reaching from Bronze over Gold and Diamond up to the Legendary Rank that is reserved only for the best of the best… of the best. At the end of each season you will receive exclusive in-game rewards based on your placements.

[Picture of the MP screen, showing season, division and rewards]

DLC ownership is not required to play DLC tracks or UGC using DLC objects in online multiplayer! In ranked mode all players can play any track in the multiplayer rotation regardless of DLC required. In private multiplayer the host can only include tracks using DLC they own but all other players in the lobby can play the tracks without owning the DLC.
In private multiplayer a host and up to 7 friends can play on up to 8 tracks at a time. Use our custom parameters tool to customize your private matches. Adjust basics like the number of heats or bikes allowed or go nuts and adjust gravity, bike power or a number of other “crazy” parameters!
You can also stream online competitions or just watch your friends compete with our spectator tool. In spectator mode a host can invite up to 8 friends and set them loose on up to 8 tracks then sit back and watch the action. The Spectator mode has all the same features as private matches with a few additional camera options for the host.

To see some Trials pro’s battle it out in online multiplayer and get a look at our spectator mode check out the Grand Finals from the Trials Fusion Dreamhack Samsung Open from Dreamhack Tours 2015.

    Customization

Show off your style by customizing your bike and rider with our collection of unique customization items. There are multiple ways to earn customization in Trials Rising. Every time you level up you will be rewarded with a gear crate that contains up to three customization items of any rarity. Earning medals, completing contracts and replaying tracks rewards you with trials coins that can be used to purchase items for your bike or rider in the store. There are also legendary items that can only be purchased with Acorns. Acorns can be earned by finding secret collectibles, hidden in the career tracks, as well as rewards for specific contracts.

    Gear Store

In Trials Rising the ability to customize your rider and bike in unique ways is bigger and better than ever. With over 700 unique Items and 2400 individual Stickers there will be infinite ways to customize your rider exactly the way you want and make him really stand out! On top of this you will be able to share your creation with other players through gear central on any platform and receive a reward whenever someone decides to download your creation.
For more information regarding Customization and Sharing make sure to check out our Dev Diary’s:

    Leaderboards

Compete with your friends and players around the world on leaderboards. Each track has a leaderboard as well as an overall global leaderboard for career mode tracks.
Leaderboards are shared cross platform so players on PS4, Xbox One, PC & Nintendo Switch can all compete with each other no matter what device they are playing on.

Through the leaderboards you can also watch replays of other player’s runs. This is a great way to figure out tricky obstacles that you are struggling on. Watch some replays of other players and see how they tackle the obstacle but keep in mind really skilled players will make it look easier than it really is. You can also check out other players profile by selecting their name on the leaderboards and find out how you compare to them with all sorts of cool stats such as medal count, riding distance and many more.

On the Hall of Fame leaderboard you can see your overall score, that factors in anything you can do in trials, reaching from skill games over the career tracks all the way to the hardest tracks in the game – the ninja series. However, In case you only care about career tracks or skill games you can select the filters to see how you compare to others only on those leaderboards as well.

For more information regarding the leaderboards and cross platform functionality check out our Dev Diary

    Level Editor

Create your own tracks using the same tools our Redlynx level team uses to create the in-game tracks. Our level editor is a very deep tool that lets you do anything from creating basic Trials mode tracks to coming up with all new game modes that don’t even need to use the bike or rider. With Trials Rising the editor is bigger and better than ever before now offering useful options such as being able to scale up any object to the size you want while featuring 8000 objects including legacy objects from previous titles like Trials HD, Evolution, Fusion and Blood dragon. Check out some links below for help learning the Trials level editor from basics to the most advanced tools.

    Track Central

Share your own custom tracks or play custom tracks created by other players! Track Central is split into different feeds that each contain different types of tracks. A good place to start to see the high level of quality possible with our editor is the (Ubisoft Account recommended) feed. This feed collects some of the best tracks as selected by our developers.

Custom tracks are shared cross platform so players on PS4, Xbox One & PC can all play the amazing creations from our building community.

    University Of Trials

During the Career you will be enrolled in the University of Trials whose headmaster is none other than Brad “Professor FatShady” Hill himself. Another awesome community member that you might have seen on our social media before. A few years ago our good friend Professor FatShady started his YouTube channel to help struggling players improve their skills and achieve Trials greatness. He’s got everything from tips for beginners to full breakdowns on how to take on the most difficult obstacles. With Trials Rising Shady took all his experience in the fields of riding and teaching from YouTube to our game and created the “University of Trials”. A series of tutorials that will teach you everything you need to know about the bike and how to handle it in order to overcome even the most infuriating obstacles our career tracks have to offer.

If you still feel like you need some help getting better at Trials, or just overcoming that one obstacle that you still struggle with FatShady is your man. Follow the University of Trials on the following channels:

    Track Central

A big part of Trials is custom tracks built by players like you. Track Central is our hub for track sharing in Trials Rising. There you can browse through feeds that sort tracks by different criteria or use the search option if you know what you are looking for. If you are new to Track Central the Uplay or Community Recommended fees are a great place to start. These feeds contain tracks handpicked by our developers and players from the community. All Trials Rising players have access to the entire Track Central regardless of their respective platform.

Custom tracks are shared cross platform so players on PC, PS4, Xbox One & Nintendo Switch can all play the amazing creations from our building community.

The Track Central in Trials Fusion featured over 180000 unique custom tracks created by our awesome community so expect there to be a huge variety of content to play on Track Central in Rising in no time!

After completing a track you will be able to give your vote so when you do come across something you really like be sure to give it a thumbs up to let the creator know that you like what they've done.

    The Track Editor

Included in Trials Fusion are the same tools our own level designers use to create the tracks in the game’s career mode. Our level editor is a very robust tool with a lot of options that range from simple to very complex. How far you take it is up to you. Some creators are content using the basic tools to create great Trials mode tracks while others dive deep into the complex logic tools that allow them to create whole new games within the editor.

For Trials Rising we have teamed up with Danny “Swampballs” Lippard who had already shown his expertise creating very well structured tutorials for Trials Fusion on his YouTube channel. He has now been in charge of creating a complete editor tutorial series for Trials Rising consisting of 40 videos that will teach you everything there is to know about the editor from the very basics even up to the most complex stuff. If you have any questions about specific tools in the editor these videos are a great place to start. Check out the complete tutorial series here!

    Ninja Tracks

Once you get to the extreme tracks in a Trials game things can get pretty tough. Most players never complete these tracks which is one reason the game officially ends after the hard events. However for a rare few these tracks simply aren’t hard enough. These players have mastered their bike and rider to a degree that is almost supernatural.

Thirsty to challenge themselves further they’ve used the in game editor to create a whole new tier of difficulty that is harder than anything shipped with the game and have dubbed this “Ninja difficulty”. Within Ninja difficulty there’s even additional tiers that range from just a little harder than extreme all the way to basically impossible. These tracks are not for the easily frustrated and we would not recommend trying them until you’ve at least completed all of the in-game extreme tracks. In Trials Rising we have added a series of these Ninja tracks ranging from the “easy” to the harder tiers that you can unlock by achieving a gold medal or higher on all the extreme tracks to prove your worth. These tracks should be hard enough to make even the most hardcore of the bunch rip their hair out in the attempt to pass them all.

Should you find yourself still craving for more of a challenge after you have conquered what the career has to offer, the Ninja community has you covered. Throughout rising the community will be building thousands of ninja tracks that you can access within the track central. This should keep you entertained for eternity.

Ninja tracks can be found in the Ninja feeds on Track Central. Any track that uses the “ninja” tag when being uploaded will appear in these feeds.
