    Spooky Update: Halloween in South Park 🎃

    Hey everyone! It’s Buck🎃 from Redlynx, and it’s time for this week’s spooky developer update! Let’s get started!




    THIS WEEK

    CHALLENGE MODE

    We’ve finished up our latest 24 hour event, which was Sci-Fi, and our next Challenge mode has started. This is a very special, and SPOOKY challenge mode, called “Dia de los Muertos” or “Day of The Dead” challenge. In this challenge, all ‘Deathwish” cards will have double health and double damage (note: this does not apply to their deathwish power). I fully expect to see an army of Officer Barbrady, Kenny and Butters cards! If you’re looking for your silver bullet for the ungodly monster that is a boosted Barbrady, remember to pack your Unholy Combustion! We’ve got a special outfit for this challenge, so do your best to get at least 8 wins for the full outfit! Good luck out there!


    The rewards and retry costs are also the same as in last week’s Challenge.




    🎃HALLOWEEN🎃

    Halloween has come to South Park this week and it's every boy and girl for themselves this year when the kids head out for tricks or treats in an all-new episode titled “The Scoots” on Wednesday, October 31 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. In order to not spoil any details, we’ll not be announcing this weekend’s event details in depth. It will be a token collection event and will not have a leaderboard.

    This weekend’s event will run from Friday(~1 PM UTC) to Monday(~1 PM UTC)

    DEVELOPER STREAM

    LEGENDARY SEASON RESET

    As the month comes to a close, so does another Legendary season. We will have our next season reset on November 6th and along with this, there will be some balance changes as well (details below). Check the in-game time for the exact countdown and good luck with the remainder of the season!




    BALANCE CHANGES

    As previously mentioned, there will be some balance changes coming with the new season start. Here are the full details:

    Mr. Hankey- Base HP increased to 98 (from 33) and base ATK increase to 98 (from 37)

    Mecha Timmy- Base ATK decreased to 50 (from 60) and also reduced knockback on attacks. In addition to this he will have a slightly faster movement speed and his power ability will now have a range of 7 (previously unlimited).

    Barrel Dougie- Base HP increased to 91 (from 66) and base ATK increased to 100 (from 72). Also increased the ‘first hit boost’ from 48 (from 35).

    Dwarf Engineer Dougie- Base HP increased to 91 (from 66) and base ATK increased to 100 (from 72). Also increased ‘power attack boost’ to 30 (from 10).

    Prophet Dougie- Base HP increased to 91 (from 66) and base ATK increased to 100 (from 72).

    Powerfist Dougie- Base HP increased to 91 (from 66) and base ATK increased to 100 (from 72) and his power now also freezes enemies around the Enemy New Kid.




    One last thing! As some of you may have noticed, we have been testing some new and updated offer UI. Starting next week, all users will have this new and updated version!

    Hi, what’s the cutoff for this legendary season? In the past it was 10000 LSR but I’ve also seen top 50% ( I don’t think those numbers are the same). If it is top 50% how will we know what that rank is?

    Am I real?

    What about details of Bug fixes?

    Normally speaking when you guys fix bugs you announce it in the last the last dev. post of the season and announce which bugs will be fixed. Where is that this post?

    Are we to assume none of the bugs that have been identified lately and or over the last 8 months will be fixed?

    To name a few AGAIN...

    - All ranged units doing double shots on units? Specifically Timmy's, Robo's and Nathan.. This is been an issue for 6+ months and has not ONCE been identified that it is being fixed.

    DKC warcry not working on a zen using his Charge ability?

    DKC Targeting when a new unit is spawn during WC rush?

    ANY Warcry not working if taunted by Zen?

    Transmog Targeting issues and or Zombie Animation of units being revived?

    BHK 1 hitting vacuums?

    Outlaw Tweeks Damage being done to NK in Full if within spray rage? So a unit can do over 300 damage to NK?

    What about Robo's busted speed on attacks with its register-cap hitting full speed in 2 unit kills?

    Enforcer Keeping units perm. binded?

    Non-registering NK hits where you see a unit hitting the NK 2-4 times in a row and no damage being done?

    Mind control - Kenny Combo where you dont lose the unit. Saw it happened just recently?

    Zombie units combing back to life.

    NK switching targets during a zombie respawn to change target of zap?

    Also with the MECHA Nerf, please explain why Mystical is not receiving any type of Nerf's to its units and or why there is not a buff to at least allow other color combinations to be viable against a Green + something build? There is no balance in the game ATM.

    Also with Mecha Nerf, why touch his attack? But mecha now has a base attack lower than Pope. It sounds like it will also have similar speed of pirate ship as well. But why nerf his attack? This was a pointless Nerf.. speed -- sure , limit on range -- you betcha.. but why attack?

    Any updates with a Stream only for Q & A's? - NO game play.. We've been asking for this for 2+ months now. And specifically a came coder-dev \ Game Manager that can answer real questions.

    What about Server Side, when will that be fully implemented? Its way past summer.... or did you guys mean summer 2019?

    What about Team vs Team battles? Any update and or time frame?

    Did users with the 200 server error receive their compensation? If so, why was it not server wide since it happened to everyone and not just those doing Challenge events?

    What is going on with with quality improvements and or a 1 year anniversary for the games release? Besides something to Milk-the-whales will RL be doing anything special for the 1 year anniversary that actually does not cost money\milk? Can we just once get something fun -- free and shows respect\gives something back to the community for the members that have funded your unbalanced-bug filled game for over a year?

    Please, no PC answers ... "well look into that in the future" .. "Once server side gets here that will be fixed"...blah blah. Can we just get some Tregerdy from the Devs?

    You nerf MT when it didn’t need it but you leave SOMM running rampant wiping out the entire board before it gets to the half way point. Dougies were fine but you had to mess with those for no real obvious reason. How about address the amount of ***** coming from chicken coop??? An obvious problem. I’ve been on this game forever but you guys are pushing me away with these weird, random balance changes.

    I share the same disbelief as the others regarding the "balance".

    Sure, Mecha Timmy was good and a slight nerf makes sense. However, nerfing him while keeping Mystical unctouched really is a joke.
    At least 1 month more with Hallelujah bringing crazy value, Pope being the best Timmy (thanks to his previous buff on 6 energy and more HP), Witch Doctor Token and Medusa lv3+ surviving lv5 lightning, Ninjew, best assassins...
    I would argue that some others cards also deserve a slight nerf (SOMM, chicken coop, blod elf Bebe,...) but this is minor compared to Mystical right now.

    Any view on whether a real balance will happen any time soon?

    Please justify this.

    I would like an actual answer please. How can you justify such an extreme nerf to mecha timmy without touching mystic? EVERYONE agrees that mystic is overpowered. And thats not new. Its been that way since the update. To be a top player these days you absolutely have to run mystic. Thats all anybody plays anymore because the other themes cant compete. Yet you nerf the most useful ard scifi has, the only card that leeps it relevent, and mystic continues to go untouched. The player base wants an answer and you have gone months without even acknowledging it. We just want you to be accountable for the changes you make and actually balance the game instead of continuing to force players to either play mystic, or lose nearly every game to the 99% of players that do. Ive been playing since launch and im well over 1000$ into this game. I have enjoyed it. But you can count on not recieving another penny from me until you answer these concerns and tell us your plan to correct them. On top of that, adventure is useless now. It has stan of many moons. Thats it. Nothing else in that entire theme is worth using. No buffs for adventure? No buffs to anything to help it compete with mystic? Please tell us what your plan is.

    Mystic?

    At least tell us you have some kind of a plan to adress mystic and how it just plain has to be played if you expect to be a top 100 player.
