    That's an old punch card, I believe. I remember these being phased out when I first started working at IBM.

    Punched tape rather. Punch cards are narrower and taller.

    Well, its at least "punch tape" which was the output.

    I think we are going to have to decode the tape, but I'm utterly clueless as to how to do that.

    "Baudot Code" which is what the tape uses is here:

    Do not consider the small dots in a line on the tape.

    I tried googling it as never heard or seen it. It reckons there are 2 main varieties, Telex and Beudot code but nothing on either :/

    anyone know the machine?
