    Pacific Fighter Fans -

    Greetings -

The pilots of II/JG11 at II/Jagdgesschwader 11 have elected to form a new squadron that will fly and fight as Marine Corps squadron VMF-223 in Pacific Fighter when it is released. We will also be flying as AVG (Flying Tigers), 2nd Squadron with IL2FB until that time. The VMF-223 website is now up and though it is not complete it can be visited at VMF-223
Although all positions are nearly filled we have three openings for those interested it flying with us.

    Gentlemen -
VMF-223 has formed up! We now have 8 pilots flying Marines and 6 pilots flying Opfor as the 223 Kokutai. There is still room for a few more Marine pilots, but the Japanese squadron is closed until further notice. When PF is released we will resume looking for 2 more pilots to fly the Japanese squadron.
Please visit our web site at VMF-223 Battling Bulldogs
While we wait for PF we are flying an on-line campaign as the 2nd Pursuit Squadron of the American Volunteer Group (AVG) in China. Our first stat night was last Friday and was enjoyed by all who flew.

    Gentlemen -
We have increased the size of our Japanese squadron, 223 Kokutai, to 8 pilots. Recruitment has been stopped for the time being , but send in an application for reserve status pilot.
