In the last week or so we have seen most beautiful, favorite plane in FB and fav in real life.

I want to know what plane you would have dreaded meeting had you been a pilot.

Anything on my six is bad but I would have to say that the Hienkel He.219 would give me Bad shivers.

2 20mm's 3 30 mm's Close to 420 mph and a ceiling at almost 42'000 ft plus a wicked Liechtenstein arry. Even the Mossies had trouble with this beast. Good thing for the allies so few went into active service.

When I look at pictures of it I am reminded of a Praying Mantis getting reading to pounce on a grasshopper.

I can almost hear a Luft. pilot circling Berlin during a Lancaster raid going " Here kitty kitty kitty"

..............................
I always have just enough fuel to arrive at the scene of my crash.

Apparently, many that flew it thought it was overrated and that it couldn't attain published speeds.

I might not want to meet a He-219 if I was in a Lanc at night.

in a fighter for sure the me262 because if someone with patience flies it you won't even see what hit you and it has this incredible firepower which destroys entire planes and sure leads to many pilot kills.
in a bomber i would be afraid of everything, especially planes with cannons.

My most dreaded encounter is a WIFE-98 on my six, I cant seem to shake her. Persistant nagging always brings me down.

An Ace Pe-3 in IL2/FB/AEP!
E.Hartmann in RL , even if he flies a P11.

Nahhh....i feel pity for you, you can't even enjoy your hobby anymore http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

But i would really fear a Fw190 or P47 Tbolt head on with guns blazing...and a BETTER pilot than me on the controls http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/52.gif

The plane I'd fear most, since I'm more of a bomber pilot/fighter-bomber pilot, and I fly the He-111(soon to be B-25) and the P-38, I most fear Fw-190's on my tail, especially if they have a better pilot. However, I'm not afraid of all 190's. I've learned how to deal with the 190D-9's very well in a P-38. In an He-111, I don't have to worry about the 190's but the allied plane I'm afraid of in an He-111, amazingly, is the P-38! I don't know about you but just the sight of that forked tail devil makes me shudder if it's lined up behind me ready to shoot! Good job Gib and Jeronimo on the excellent P-38.
