Can someone write here any news on assassin's creed victory, please?

I just want to know all the news to tell them to a friend of mine, since he do not go to this forum. I also want to know this.

If you really have to tell something negative, please, make it construtive.

If you can send on this tread, some pictures (for example, a picture of the box of the game), it would also be nice.

Thanks in advance. ^-^

News:

You can use a grappling hook

There is like a casino-esque gambling area

There is carriage riding and fights atop carriages and trains

The protagonist's name is rumored to be Samuel Fey, the alleged 7 minutes of leaked gameplay which is unavailable to the public is said to be the first 7 minutes of gameplay, in the video, it's rumored that Samuel ran by a lady handing him a hat and he put it on for the extra stealth, we don't know if customization is returning

Overall: we don't really know much yet

As long as we don't bet real money, I'm fine with it.

Also, Do you know if it was for a game (such as the one in brotherhood or other ac games. It would be cool. ^-^

You could just search the forums, instead of posting about it; it would take less keystrokes too.

It was on Kotaku; google can lead you to it.

Yeah, I know, but I am REALLY NOT patient. I already found a tread about futur ac games and there is so many page. The tread start with people not knowing about ac victory yet and with above the first 100 of pages, I am clearly not patient enaugh to read them all and if I only read the few last page, I might not read an information I don't know about yet.

Also, for the google ressearch. I am really not lucky with that. When I do a research about destiny they give me page on a batman games.

To add on to the grappling hook, throwing knives are also apparently returning

Recently I've been toying with the idea of Victory having multiple protagonists or some twist. We've only heard of 7 minutes of gameplay, so who knows, maybe it's another Haytham ---> Connor type of thing. I've heard rumors about Quebec working on Victory for 7 years now, so it wouldn't be that crazy to think maybe Victorian London isn't the only place we'll be going this game. Although, the one thing that kinda scares me is the fact that modern day wasn't the start of this game. I'm still going to try to be optimistic about modern day in Victory, but it's looking dark so far :(

During one of those anime conventions (or something, I don't know) he mentioned he's doing a voice in another AC game that he couldn't talk about. I don't think I'm the only one who connected the dots after that, but I mentioned he may be Sam's voice actor in another thread. He also said he can do a lot of British accents

EDIT: I'm looking through the video so you can hear the non-paraphrased version

[QUOTE=Altair1789;10476450. I've heard rumors about Quebec working on Victory for 7 years now[/QUOTE]

I highly HIGHLY doubt it would have been worked on for seven years. Even if it was confirmed I gather it would be something like Unity, where they probs only had a hundred or so for the first two years, and in the last two years they get heaps of people to work on the game. Even with a 4 year dev cycle, Unity still turned out to be one of the most buggy games in a while.

Actually come to think of it the 7 year thing can't be true anyway. This franchise only started seven years ago, and Patrice intended for the franchise to end with AC3, so this game wouldn't have been in conception at least until Patrice left, which was 2010. I'm guessing this game by release would have been developed in 3-4 years.

All honesty though I don't care how long they take to develop a game. I just want innovation and fun. I had more fun with Brotherhood (a 10 month dev time) than Unity (4 year dev time) at release.

their necessity to show that they've been working in a game for many years (and it's kinda funny how the newest release conveniently seems to be in development for more time than the previous one) make them look incompetent as hell when they release a product at Unity's state...

Interesting year in gaming next year. That new Sherlock Holmes game (yes it's already been released but I'm planning on getting it some day next year), The Order:1886 in February and AC:Victory (most likely)at the end of the year. That's a lot of 19th century London.

I like the setting mostly because of the beautiful graphics we'll get from it. On the other hand there are so many awesome settings Ubi didn't even consider to touch yet.

The franchise was planned to be a trilogy once AC I proved profitable, but greed got in the way and they just dont know what to with it.
