Hey folks,

Have you ever noticed that most British aircraft use a control stick with a ring on top while all American aircraft (barring P38) use a straight stick? Why is this?

Is there a reason or is it just becasue they like to be different? You know, just like they drive on the wrong side of the road! (From the rest of the world perspective) HAHAHA! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Someone told the Brits a ring on your stick will prevent premature firing of your ammo.
