Wow a new pointless poll. I like it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
For me it's gotta be the CR 42. I thik I have only acchieved 2 kills in that plane yet (in online DF).
Still I must've been shot down or crashed at least 50 times, but still the plane is amazingly fun to fly.

Badsight, if you're in a burning P-39 or Spit, do you still not bail? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Anyways, for it must be the P-40. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

turn the engine up to full power. pull up slightly and turn left about 30 degrees. then bail. if your lucky the plane comes bak and cuts your parachute and kills you. i never actually managed it but i have come very very close. do it in the hurricane

Planes? o those things yes i remember them!

From what I've seen, the P-39 is the only single-engined fighter where an engine fire doesn't guarantee a trip to the hospital or worse. It (usually) doesn't explode as quickly as most other fighters when it catches on fire, giving me time to put the fire out in a dive, and maybe allowing me another pass or two at that Ju-88 formation before it catches again and I decide not to push my luck.

On the flip side, the location of the engine means it gets hit pretty often.

yak-9k: I miss the old IL2 original "yak3 with a 40mm cannon" flight model http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif, but getting that cannon round into a wing (or pretty much anywhere else) is still very satisfying http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

i like the TB3...

Its a shame though as on online servers you spend 10 minutes flying to the enemy base only to be immediately targeted by enemy fighters even though there are millions of your own fighters hovering around. Then some guy uses up all his ammo and rams you before you drop your bombs... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
