Okay, so this isn't in London... but can we PLEASE take a detour to Surrey for a closed mission, because, look.

A Secret Ballroom Built In The 1800s Lies Under A Lake, Guarded By Neptune

A giant statue of Neptune sits atop an underwater dome enclosing a secret room under the lake of the Witley Park in England.

The entire estate was drenched in opulence and extravagance. It was built in the late 1800s by Whitaker Wright, a shady businessman who was convicted of fraud after many years of floating bad loans and swindling investors. In 1904, he took his own life via cyanide pill on the day of his sentencing.

Or did he? :)

That is a VERY cool place!!

Infiltration into the house, meticulous incapacitation of the VIP's security, cause the VIP to flee the house towards his lake ballroom

or

Begin with a party at the ballroom, gather info from the guests, use the info to find weak points for infiltration of the house, get the VIP.

I don't know if we're going right to the end of Victoria's reign or not, but if we do, this would be a great final mission as an end to this age of wealth and decorative weirdness.

Oh that’s LOVELY!
And imagine that we use Eagle vision to discover a hidden panel that unlocks a First Civ. Temple underneath with an awesome artifact! Maybe the Shroud of Eden?

The piece of eden of victory will be the book of abraham (you see copies of it in one of paris histories of unity) that is in possession of the hermetic order of golden down,or the ankh second wikipedia is used in its rituals.

Yes!
I'd love see precursor sites/encounters and Pieces of Eden/weird-and-wonderful TWCB related stuff woven into the narrative again, the lore was depressingly barebones in Unity and really hampered my enjoyment of the story. I'm not asking for anything overly complex like the Desmond Saga (realistically that's never going to happen), just a few cool mysterious sequences at the end to remind us that we're still in the AC universe and not some run-of-the-mill rebooted one.

Oh, and nice pictures OP :).

You'd like Rogue.

I saw this earlier, didn't make the AC connection, but it's definitely very cool.

This is a nice detail you might enjoy...

James Whitaker Wright did not die at his mansion. However, he killed himself with cyanide directly after his fraud conviction at the Royal Courts of Justice.

The Royal Courts of Justice were relatively new buildings at the time, about 40 years old at the time of his death. So you might think there's no interesting connection there, except the location is in a district called Temple, so called because of the number of buildings in that area which used to be owned and run by the Knights Templar and bore some variation of the Temple name. All of the four Inns of Court are nearby, two of which are 12th century converted Templar buildings. What better place for a final assassination in a London game? All the assassin character needs to do is live until January 1904.

(Get his home in first though, obviously.)

This is the building:

Haha epic one :P

The Ankh would be absolutely interesting. I just hope that we get to see something about its origins, what it does, what its for..etc. cause the Star-shaped P.O.E. from Rogue and The Sword of Eden had next to no explanation at all. I’d love to see more. Those are like my most favorite parts of the games.

To be perfectly honest, I’d do anything to see the games return to the style of Desmond’s saga. Those were like the best thing ever. I just hope we do indeed get to see First Civ. sites cause almost every single game had them. Why stop now? they’re a pivotal part of the lore.

I loved the complexity of the Desmond saga. If they made the games even more complex than that, that would be great
