Does anyone know if this could happen at any time? Or will we just have to wait and find out?

As no one here works at Ubisoft im sure we will have to wait
even if someone worked at Ubisoft they couldn't sayanaything

So yes, on upcoming games we all have to wait and see. lol.

This thread though. Do you mean 2000's? What even happened in the 200's. And anyway, if you're talking about a modern AC, look for some threads of it or something. People have debated over it before.

I'm assuming you mean 2000's and no one here has said it yet but AC1, 2 , Brotherhood, Revelations and 3 all take place in 2012 my friend :P.

I hope not.Modern days are about cars, guns, and computer magic. That's not an Assassin's Creed I'd buy.

if they had any interest in make a modern AC they wouldn't have done what they did with the modern day sections of the game..

So they will add more of it in games to come right?

Do you mean add more to the modern day sections? I don't think so, IMO it'll become smaller and smaller from now on (assuming that's possible), unfortunately Ubisoft doesn't have the balls to drop it for once...

Why is that?

(IMO) the modern days are just a mean to an end for them and because of it they don't want to waste much resources on it...

It's better to know what's going on in the modern day tho.
