there is no clear documantation in game/README about the Spitfire MkIX variants.

so, my question is:
has all Spitfire MkIX, except the HF.MkIX , the same Merlin engine - actualy the Merlin66 ?
so, the only performance difference betwenn a ,so in game called, F.MkIX and LF.MkIX (i think the armament c ore e are making no difference) comes from the Clipped Wings of the later ?

IF yes , wouldnt it not more correct to call the F.MkIX ones also LF.MkIX ?

i heard/read that the E-Wings came in production 1944 (?) , than that would give us the following Spit9s in game:

LF.MkIXc 43
LF.MkIXc CW 43
LF.MkIXe 44
LF.MkIXe CW 44
HF.MkIXe 44

would you consider sometimes a Spitfire F.MkIXc with round rudder and MErlin61 performance for 1942 ? that would be great for missionbuilding.
