Now that the sim is moving toward Luft46 and late-war Western fighters, with a smattering of other nations and pre-war aircraft, do you think Oleg has exhausted the VVS inventory or do you still want to see more (aside from making some AI planes flyable) ? IL-10 and La-9 (late-war) and I-15 (pre-war) come to mind, others ?

S!
LW driver here, i think you are right with all the late war LW planes as well as western planes. I do not think we needed the go229 or the 109z. I feel he could have used that spot for the two planes Capt. mentioned. I dont think the need for those real late war russian planes are needed either though cool to have as flyable, but not at expense of planes that flew the Eastern front. Im from the US and love that i got the p38 to fly, but i chose FB because it gave me a chance to fly against Russian craft. I like flying against VVS because they have so many planes that were to fill the various roles. I have to fight differently against each one (well actually all i do is B&Z http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/mockface.gif) SO i think finding more of the VVS planes that flew in the war would have been great, also having more of the 110's and the JU88 would have been great. Sadly i dont see anymore russian planes coming out, and looks like next release will be the pacific where i can fly my p38. Here is hoping you VVS jocks get a couple more bombers tho.

Fwdreamer.

The 229 was a third party plane, done by an individual who volunteered his work and who could have easily chosen not to do any aircraft. I'm not sure about the 109z. As for Late war VVS, the Il-10 would be a nice addition. Overall though I'm pretty happy with AEP.

I'd like to see an I-185, and I'd like the Pe-2 to be flyable. But from the sound of it, both are in the works.

I REALLY hope we can get the He-100 to be a counterpart to the I-185. Only fair, y'know? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

My votes for new additions. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The IL-10 appeared in prototype form in summer of '44. It was in service until the 1950s.
