Hi, I'm a big assassin's creed fan and I'm thinking getting it on my birthday (10 days away XD). However I heard about the optimization problems on the pc. Has this issue been fix? My specs are: i7 4770, 8gb RAM, and GTX 760.
I wanna run the game at the high-highest settings with the low shadows and fxaa, ssao, etc at 1080p @ 40fps (atleast)

Thanks in advance.

AC U should perform well on your PC, but, in its current state, I don't think that 40+ fps at 1080p and high+ settings is realistic on a GTX 760. Maybe at 900p.

That sounds reasonable, any there any news about optimization? Any patches coming?

Patch 4 is coming and although we all would rather have it now :) Ubi are still working to make it as good as possible. Patch 4 is supposed to improve performance.

Sounds promising thanks.

you should be ok at 1080p, give it a try and see. You will definitely need to turn the other settings down though.

For sure, it's just a metter of personal preference which alternative looks better, 900p at higher or 1080p at lower settings.

You might be fine at 30 fps with those settings. Patch 4 will hopefully fix the crappy draw distance a lot of people have been experiencing. Anyway, good luck :)
