Gasp! A sandbox adventure game with occasional glitches?! Say (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dn6RF6rXmjk) it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DC0lKwttOj0) ain't (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpodIL-_xnQ) so! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NlhOzOQAAw)

But seriously, if you feel the need to leap to the internet and complain about every single glitch you encounter, you should probably stop playing games. Or at least lower your absolutely absurd standards.

complain? chill out my friend...they are just for some lighter moments. I am an AC fan as much as you are and enjoying the game very much. And I am well aware that games have glitches. And in no way assume that you have any clue about my standards. So relax!

Forgive me, I'm sure you can understand why the little red rage face () in your title had me a bit confused.

What about the people who can't access their game at all due to the game crashing every time they try to start it up? Are they just whiners too?

No forgiveness necessary :) I am sorry, not too good with emoticons, it was red...so I used it lol. did not know it is rage face. but i said enjoy in the title because i couldn't stop laughing on my own when the lady was being dragged by the cart and i thought i should share this amongst fans! Hope you had a nice thanksgiving!

No, I didn't suggest otherwise. Game-breaking bugs are one thing; little cosmetic glitches like the ones in the OP are nothing; mildly amusing at best, slightly annoying at worst.

You're forgiven. That is the bug that has me the most frustrated right now.

I'm assuming you've tried the good ol' uninstall/reinstall? Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Couldn't hurt to try.

I'm on PS4 and tried uninstalling and then reinstalling all of my updates and DLC, as well as several other solutions. None worked sadly. The game works fine when I'm not connected online and I can access my initiates profile and uplay account from the opening menu to the game. Once I press "Continue" on the home screen, the game begins to load up and then immediately crashes and gives me an error code. I heard many other people having problems with this same bug and I thought I was safe from it until it finally hit me somewhere near the end of the 11th sequence. I've never had a bug this serious in any of the other AC games.

"Occasional" glitches? Some folks can't even get past the fricken loading screen.

But seriously, if you feel the need to leap to the internet and complain about every single glitch you encounter, you should probably stop playing games. Or at least lower your absolutely absurd standards.

Who's this mythical person who has complained about "every single glitch he's encountered"? I've never seen anyone like that. Or is it that you think that expecting a game to work fairly decently represents "absurdly high standards"?

I love how the apologists make these ridiculous straw men arguments. A truly "loyal AC fan" would be criticizing the state of the game to try to ensure it doesn't happen again so that AC can always be the best it can be, not jumping on people when they post examples of the problems.

The thing is, the people who coded this game did their best, but they were betrayed by management who didn't care enough about the game or the developers' work - all they wanted was the money. In being dismissive of the critics, what you're doing is taking the side of management and siding against the workers who desperately wanted to give us a great product and thereby have their work mean something important. You're basically saying to management, "Keep cutting quality for bigger profits" and you're saying to the developers "Don't bother being proud of what you do - we don't care about your pride, and don't bother doing your best - we don't need it".

You can be damned sure that every person who actually worked on the ground floor on this game wanted it to be released in a fully functional state, and not as the mess it was. Those people want us to prevent this from happening again, because they want their product to be the best it can be.

Me and my friends couldn't get a co-op mission to start together yesterday after trying for an hour, and then we gave up. today my "know it all" trophy would not pop up, and I read somewhere in the internet that I have to do all the trainings again and in order and altogether. this game is slowly becoming a headache! too much companion app stuff, initiates never works, uplay never syncs with initiates, parkour is broken due to frame rate lags. i could keep going, regardless i am enjoying the game only because it is an AC game. script and screenplay is very poor.

Well said friend - and I also add that the dev teams expecially at Ubisoft (whatever the studio or team member that can be involved in making games for Ubisoft) are totally enslaved by the clueless executives that put pressure on them throught the bones for respecting the deadlines and fiscal year(s).

Nowdays video gaming industry is close to labor slavelry for the dev teams and Ubisoft is one of the companies on the top of the list for doing this.

You know that video with the horse and carriage, in my game there was no horses.

I had this too. I thought the horses would show up later, then the carriage started rolling on its own--truly a horseless carriage. I thought the glitch was it wouldn't let me walk in front of the carriage when it was parked, I had to walk way around the front. I guess I was walking around the invisible horse.

When they decided not to include horses in Unity, they meant it.
