I treated myself to two films last night: the first, the immaculate Dark Blue World (which has already been talked to death on these forums so I will not force you guys to rehash old material). For the second, I saw a widely unknown german film here in the United States called "Stalingrad." I knew Stalingrad was one of the most brutal battles of WWII but the essence of the conflict was captured so well that it made "Enemy at the Gates" look like a John Wayne shoot 'em Sands of Iwo Jima kind of film! Honestly, if you have not seen them, drop what you're doing and get a hold a copy of each of them. You won't be disappointed!

I'm getting Dark Blue World from Netflix soon.
