@zuuj I have been having the same problem, i think many of the people which have actually managed to get around the acu.exe crash are now running into this problem as well. I have heard of a few cases where starting a new game lets you connect online though obviously you'd lose any current progress you've made. Could I ask, if you were to click "See My Conacts" in the "My Brotherhood" tab of the main menu, does it leave you on a constant loading screen and does the same happen for "Invite Players" in "Play Together"?

The dev's mentioned patch 3 will be working on co op fixes and the acu.exe crash issue though I think we're just going to have to make do with a broken game at the moment because Ubisoft isn't exactly proving to be on top of these issues nor are they showing a decent level of customer support right now.

Kind regards

I had this same problem but I actually managed to fix it. I hope I'll explain it right as my system language is not English.

Anyway for me it was a problem with my firewall that I fixed by following the next steps:

- Open firewall settings in Windows
- Go to advanced settings
- Rules for incoming connections
- Look for Assassin's Creed Unity, ACU, acu etc..

I had 4 rules stating something about ACU. I deleted them all. Rebooted my game and Windows asked me to accept connections from ACU. I accepted it and it worked. Somehow I have to delete these rules everytime before I want to play co-op, otherwise it won't work.

I hope this helps, and if there is a need for it I can make some screenshots on how to do it.

Good luck!

I have just managed to fix it with a fair bit of rummaging through forums myself xD, this is what i managed to find:

i just found my way to bypass this error code and maybe it will help you too.
1.) i just simply went into windows fire-wall. http://gyazo.com/c0b793bb1cfd44cc37ce676e7e9936c9 (sorry that the language is danish)
2.) then press "allow a program or feature through windows firewall". http://gyazo.com/feba0542909792ef75dbc2e6c15c0173
3.) go delete "acu" or "assasin's creed: Unity" from the list. http://gyazo.com/aa0b28badb6094c76ddb9ff290c9c83c
4.) start up the game and quit it when you are in the main menu.
5.) then windows fire-wall should ask you if you want to allow "acu" through the fire-wall. Click cancel. http://gyazo.com/01e31ccce0d15950b9369bf80ae3d484
6.) start the game again and now you should be able to play co-op.

That was my little guide to how i bypassed the error code and finally enjoy the game 100%"

I hope this works for all others who see it.

Kind regards.
