View Full Version : Let's Go Way Back

So, after AC: Rogue & Unity, we find ourselves at the end of AC games being set in the 1700's
Where to next? The choices are endless, but let's think outside the triangle.

Almost all the AC titles have been in a steady rise, going up in history.
12th century, 15th, 18th etc.
Here's an idea, why don't the series go BACKWARDS! Timeline speaking, I mean. A story set even before AC1!
Ancient history is way too rich to be overlooked, even events/settings in a BC era would be revolutionary for video games as a whole.
Imagine sprinting around as an Assassin in Ancient Babylon or Ancient Greece! What other game on the shelves can you think of in which you can do such a thing?

For a moment, let us go further outside the triangle. All Assassin Creed games put us in a familiar historic setting, how about one that is NOT familiar? Or perhaps one that is extremely vague? Atlantis, anyone? This could give Ubisoft the opportunity to construct a world of their own, adhering to historical proofs and facts but nevertheless, creating THEIR OWN cities & landscapes

Let's go further...
Perhaps a story that explores the true origins of Templars & Assassins or even the 'Human-First Civ. War' ?

How cool would it be to experience the world in pre-history, as a previously enslaved human (or hybrid human), rebelling against the Precursors and 'assassinating' them?
It'd be quite an experience. A little far-fetched but mind-blowing all the same.

I want to be thrilled and enthralled.
