Firstly, I do like the game, this is just some random stuff that was missing/Unexplained.

Arno mentions in one of the sequences to the Brotherhood that he saw his targets memory. Why does he not even question how he can do this and why does the Brotherhood not look at him and go "WAT".
Arno is discharged from the Brotherhood, has all his ranks lost etc but gets to keep the Hidden/Phantom Blade.
The Sword of Eden just "loses power" for no reason whatsoever.
End game gives you the "Master Assassin" outfit. But he never becomes a Master Assassin cause he isn't one.
Was the thing Napoleon stole from the king the Apple of Eden?

The Assassins aren't a Country Club.

If you're kicked out, you can still kill people and make use of their weaponry.

Look at Shay and Aveline.

That's ridiculous. You get given their signature weapon for being an Assassin and when you leave/get kicked out you can just keep it? That means anyone could join if they wanted a cool blade then just discharge themselves

Not to mention Shay didn't get kicked out at all.

1. The Hidden Blades aren't particularly complex weapons, even if Arno was kicked out, he could make his own. The Animus doesn't reflect perfect reflection of time, though, as we saw with Edward killing people via pigeon coops before he joined the Assassins.

2. Well...

They tried to murder him so that's good enough for me.

My point is, it's not like outsiders can't use the Hidden Blade. Edward had one for years before he joined.

1) Yeah, that scene was so weird...and it's not like previous Assassins have done that before so it makes it even weirder.
( Well I guess you can consider Connor a little, but he only did it when he was searching for people)

2) Yeah, that makes no sense. Especially considering Altair lost all his gear except for his hidden blade.

3) I think Elise broke it? There was some final clash that cracked it and made it lose all its power in one burst.

But how could a human sword do anything to it?

4) That too doesn't make sense...and it's not like the Council died or anything.

5) Perhaps? Maybe Dead Kings will explain it.

And some things I would like to add:

1)How did Mirabeau and De la sierre make temporary peace between the Assassins & Templars?

2) How could Germain talk to Arno after he killed him?

3) Why was Germain a grandmaster? Isn't the Sage like neither Assassin or Templar?

Or is he different from Roberts?

4)I'm guessing the Council didn't give a flying **** about Pierre's betrayal?

Can't think of anymore atm.

#3.Maybe,only rhe sage could use it properly :/
#4.Yeah,4his is really annoying. It feels like they should AT LEAST have given us a cutscene about Arno being forgiven etc.Imagine if this question is not answered in Dead Kings or possible sequel....Biggest unfinished AC protagonist ever!
#5.Again,i hope it is confirmed in Dead kings,or a sequel is centered around Napoleon maybe

Also, when Arno is kicked out of the Brotherhood,he is crying:"Let me finish this,i know what Germain did!"etc.Well, did he need the assassins approval?LOL
He had been killing target after targer without it...

That's just plain wrong...we would need to pay another 15 euro for the dead kings DLC just to get these answers...Everything in this game smells like greed. They're really milking it dry.

Just my take...

1. Pierre knew he had abilities maybe the Assassin's just don't question those that have the blood from first civ. They also know most mentors have had special abilities. Maybe it's not as important anymore.

2. Who's going take it? Arno to me just seems like he can kick all their asses. Plus he was "tainted" maybe he just isn't given help/support from them, but is a part of the creed still. Rank taken not kicked.

3. It's so we don't have an OP weapon in the game that is a sword and gun all in one. That sword kicked my butt till I figured out how to approach him.

4. Simple. He got back in. Once a part of the creed always a part in life or in death. I am sure the council realized they were idiots.

5. Most likely the whereabouts of the apple. I am sure we have not heard/seen the last of Napoleon and Arno's partnership.

Most AC end on cliff hangers and more questions than answers. I don't see how this is different. I think they have a plan for more than one game with Arno. I just have a feeling. I very much enjoyed this game as a whole. Arno to me is a great addition to the family. I just hope, to be honest here, he gets to grow more as a character for us.

lolwut. Hidden blades seem pretty complex to me. Even to this day, we never got a legit answer to how the mechanism works. Only by watching those videos on YouTube of custom made hidden blades do we get an idea. Is the hidden blade operated by muscle pulse? Is it operated by tugging on a string, which is why they do a flicking motion with their hand? See, there are questions. Besides the hidden blade, how do you even aim the phantom blade? Sure, it's just a video game, but I really doubt someone like Arno can just build a hidden blade since we don't even know much about him besides what we got in the game.

I thought the whole game regarding the Assassins was silly. You kick a guy out of your group, and yet, you let him run amok doing what he pleases even after yelling at him repeatedly. Surely, they could have just sent some Assassins after Arno, but didn't. In fact, they should have given us a cutscene showing the Master Assassins apologizing to Arno since his actions severely weakened the French Templars for them.

No he was definitely de ranked. They said this.

Also, its not "once a part of the creed" at all and its not "simple". He never saw the Brotherhood again.

What also doesnt make sense is how you can just roam the hidden council whenever you like

Then we should just chalk it up to the Animus, I guess.

Sequence-breaking and all that.

It does that a lot, canonically.

I Agree!

I actually quite enyojed the story up that point in which Arno....

Gets expelled from the Brotherhood

Ever since that incident, the plotholes began

Where was it said he never saw the brotherhood again? And calm yourself woman...it's a game, no need to get so involved in the unknowing of it all lol. Anyway I'd bet a check he is still involved in the creed. Those robes just scream "yep, a badass!"

You know... when he never went back any time after he was escorted maybe?

Don't appreciate being called a woman either, these are plotholes, and there are quiet a few of them.

It is not explicitly said, but at the same time, you never see those guys ever again....

But do you have to see that scene is the question? His robes man...his robes. Anyway I wouldn't worry too much as I am sure his story will further with napoleon in dlc or next game or so. My eagle sense is like spider sense ;-) I have a feeling.

So? He bought his own robes.

Shay got his robes from some family.

Edward stole his.

Why would the game label them "Master Assassin" robes if they were not "Master Assassins" robes? Anyway he seems to hold the sword of eden, has new robes and talks about understanding the creed. How much more do you need? Why does everything need to be spelled out this generation. Come on most AC games endings are lack luster anyway.

Letīs see:

He gets thrown out, we never meet the council at least based of the current in game stuff yet he earns those "master assassin" robes.... How??????

I understand cliff hangers and even tolerate plain bad endings, but plotholes are a whole different thing....

Why is it so important you know how he got Master, is my question? If they showed him in the Master Assassin robes, he is clearly a Master Assassin then. The ending wasn't about him getting his rank back/master but learning from what it meant to wear the robes of a Master. This most likely is a saga again and not so much Ezio style trilogy. His character doesn't have that privilege that Ezio had. Most likely I see it going Kenway style with maybe cameo. I sure hope I am wrong cause Arno is so.....deadly!

1. Bellec explained what it was to him, implying that the brotherhood is aware of these abilities. Arno mentions this to Elise in the novel.

2. Thought that was a bit weird myself, no real explanation other than that they don't care maybe?

3. Gameplay reasons I would imagine

4. No actual proof that he isn't, while never seeing him return to the brotherhood that doesn't mean he never rejoined. Also a letter from Elise urged Arno to return to his brothers and share their belief that Assassin's and Templar's could unite.

5. High possibility, yes.
