Seems NVidias Unity Optimized drivers that we where all supposed to download are not that optimized after all. The 344.65 are crud. Install the 344.48 drivers. Believe me the difference was amazing. Game does not stutter at all ever. and I am getting a better FPS. Please let me know if I am wrong but it certainly changed things for me.

To be honest... driver issues have always been my number 1 problem... I wish they would test every driver against every game and see what works best with which driver. New doesn't automatically mean better... it just means different. Nvidia has had some shocking drivers and one time had 3 or 4 in a row that caused artifacts and colour changes... it either takes a bit of luck or some trial and error.

I'll check your solution. Got 660GTX game runs smoothly but stutters as hell while running. Did you uninstal .65 drivers from Windows first ?

Yes its best to uninstall the old drivers first. The best way to do it to go to the device manager. click the Display adapter entry to open it. Right click you video card and select "Uninstall". After it uninstalls the drivers reboot your computer into safe mode by hitting the F8 key while the computer is booting. Then install your new drivers. Now restart..

Does the game even have a profile in 344.48?

I rolled back, and I got 344.60, but yes, it does improve performance a good bit. Definitely. Didn't even restart, and my performance was better. It's now smooth for the most part. Certain areas, particularly Ille-Saint Louis, specifically the Cafe Theatre, makes my frame rate drop alot. The inside of wealthy, fancy buildings (the noble/royal buildings) makes my frame rate drop as well. I've got to play the game on low everything (but textures are high), but the gameplay is mostly smooth. So I'd recommend rolling back your Nvidia driver if you're an Nvidia user.

Patch 1.2 actually gave me more stuttering and slightly lower fps, so I will try this on my msi 970 and report here with findings.

Rolling back did not work.

Ok, just tried .60 and .48 drivers and both times the game ran less then a minute before crashing, as well as extreme stuttering, so will stick with .65 until something better comes along.
