Unity sometimes reached under 20 fps on the ps4 version as you can see in the picture above. This is a really unacceptable level of performance, especially when it runs worse on the Ps4 than it does on the X1. DO NOT buy this until it's patched people.

Quote"ubisoft have ignored common sense and just carried on flooding the game with stubborn conviction, opting to run the game at a lower resolution with the frame rates drooping through the floor and horrendous pop-in. They did not even use the 6 extra compute units inside in PS4 to take some of the load off the CPU via direct compute.

If the number of NPC's place an extra burden on the CPU and the CPU's inside the next gen consoles are the weakest link, only a fool makes a game flooded with 5,000 NPC's. They have constructed a game that only 5% of the extreme high end PC gamers can enjoy in a playable form"

spot on ^^

This is just sad. Thanks for ruining what could have been the best game in the series, Ubi. How could they think it was acceptable to ship a game in this state?

Not exactly. The minimum requires for Unity, as expected, were bogus. Hah, I love that word. Bogus.

But yeah, mid range PCs can handle Unity just fine. It's about as optimized and playable as AC:IV. <-- at least with FXAA

GTX 750 Ti performance:

If this guy used FXAA, he could have easily achieved an avg of 40 fps with little dips.

As it stands, Unity on PC seems to be best option, regardless of specs. Also, pirate, if you're reading this, if you can handle Black Flag/Rogue on PC, you should be fine with Unity. ;)

I don't think ubisoft would listen now, in fact they're getting much worse. all we need to do is vote with our wallets.

DONT'T trust this too much, it is before Paris. My friend could play on 560 at high first 2 hours. After that it was like 12fps all the time.

After Arno goes to Paris game is more demanding. So give me benchmark in Paris.

I played in Paris with a 660 and it was great!

I just reduced the shadows a bit and it was fine really. Some patches will help as well but the game is good.

I couldn't find any Youtube benchmarks with Paris, but after some real life testing, my friend's 750 Ti manages to maintain 30-40 fps with medium/high settings, low shadows, and FXAA (+ v-sync enabled outside of the game).

The only time it dipped below 30 was during events with tonnes of NPCs like Sivert's assassination.

AC UNITY: I have friends who stay all day criticizing the game, but when they arrived home yesterday and played until 3 am today. And count the hours to play again. I only played the single for free the coop mode. Because for me will be the natural evolution of the franchise (they intend to do with The Division). If they release endless coop missions for this game need not be single.
