Can someone explain to me, please, why the Mark Vb, obsolote by 1944 is included in the expansion pack while the Mark IX, contemporaneous with the others, is not.

It was in progress last time I looked - and could be one of the 'mysterious nine' - you never know http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I'm not sure we need two threads on this http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It's simple. The Spit IX wasn't finished and the V is. However,in light of Oleg's recent post, the IX might indeed make the cut.

hmmm I prefer the pre 1944 planes. So my question to you: why should the MkIX be included before we get the MkV?

Sorry about the being two threads. The first one came back at me, as "incomplete" so I rewrote it.
I think it's a matter of historical accuracy, not a rant. Actually, even the MARK XIV WAS IN ACTION IN late '44!

There really is no rhyme or reason when it comes to the introduction of new flyable aircraft around here http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Man, be happy were getting a Spit!

I'd like to see the Mk 1 and Mk IX too, but I'm happy with the Vb.

And what is a IX anyway? A Vb with a bigger Engine.

Be patient, and you will be rewarded. aparently

If there is one thing I have learned here it is when it comes to this sim and its growth...have faith in Oleg & 1C.... look at what we already have...what we stand to get... for the price it is un heard of. So be patient....
