View Full Version : Offline playing sidelined?

IL2 is more than just the best flight simulator. But I feel that offline gaming is becoming sidelined. On-line gaming offers the amazing experience of people from different countries meeting in peace to have fun and honour past generations. However off-line gaming and mission design is an even more powerful instrument for historical immersion. Two issues spoil off-line gaming:
-Inability to change skins in static a/c
-Dissapearing of landing a/c (improved with AEP as player a/c remains)
Solutions for this last topic were suggested in
http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=50910533&m=97010733
perhaps a command in conf.ini or a console command could solve these problems in the upcoming (last?) patch.
Thank you for this game.
