What was the point you were trying to make with this link? I never put a card in the first PCI slot. Most people don't have an issue with a lack of PCI slots.

Ive got 5 empty ones..

Funny thing is that you can buy these systems with any make of Video card except the new ATI 800 series.

I think the point is that the Hornet's motherboard has the new PCI Express slots and it's the PCI Express version of the 6800 that's plugged in there.

Looks nice, gain967, but it's off topic because this is a Far Cry forum, not a hardware forum.

Afraid not Hateball. He was trying to make a point about the Ultra cards covering the first PCI slot (which nobody cares about)Where in the specs for that system do you see anything about PCI Express other than that card supporting it. In fact, I don't know anyone that has released such a mobo for use by the general public. If you do, please post a link.

This was a lame attempt to try to prove that ATI cards are superior because they are all a single slot solution.
