Yeah I know right it's not even 4K, what a load of bull.

Worst....game.....ever.

Rest assured that I was on the internet within minutes registering my disgust throughout the world.

Welcome to the forums btw :o

If this from the Sony website, it is most likely not true. They get stuff wrong all the time. Where is your source?

Drop the drugs, kid.

They did say that they're aiming for 1080p/60fps.

OP, just sayin, there's no official statement about the framerate or the resolution yet.

Correct, aiming. Though I wouldn't expect more than 900p 30FPS.

Expecting 1080p 60fps in an open world console game with a highly intricate parkour engine is laughable.

Plus the ridiculously large crowds and environment detail.

1440p Maxwell 4GB VRAM master race, tbh.

This attitude of snide entitlement needs to stop. The graphics are what they are, and we need to stop all the whining about it and just have fun.

If they want to complain to somebody, they should complain to Sony. I don't understand how people can find themselves ranting at so many games studios without thinking that the common issue is the underpowered hardware.

Thank you rice. Nuff Said.

tbh... playing at 60fps can sometimes feel a tad jarring to me. Then again I'm probably just not used to playing at it.

Can we just close this?

Shade and I already went over this, this spawned from Sony's website which was obvious placeholder as it showed up a month ago.

To repeat what I said in the thread before, Sony and Microsoft sites get resolution wrong 50% of the time on their websites. Nothing official has been announced.

Like I said before, there is no way that there will EVER be a open world game of that size on consoles that achieves 1080p and 60 fps.

This might very well be the last "console" generation all together, considering how PC gaming is becoming huger and huger.

Not to mention it is just graphics...

Ya I like my game looking pretty, sure...but to be honest for me it is like the least important thing on my list. Some of the games I had the most fun with were crappy in terms of graphs...especially because it was like back in the Nintendo 64.

And the same was said about PS360.
Anyway, I hope the fps obsession dies down a bit it's getting tiresome to see numbers.

It's not like the game is gonna look like **** anyway. We've seen gameplay that looks gorgeous, it's not going to turn into pixelated porridge even if it runs at 720p.

Exactly...to be honest some people do not even care about how good the game looks...only the freaking numbers.

The PS360 were still revolutionary. The current-gen consoles are a mere performance boost. ...And a small one at best.

720p does not look good. I'll take 1080p with medium/low textures/lighting and 30fps any day.

And then they cancel preorders which never happened XD
@Fatal, they still sell anyway so doom and gloom is not here yet

Gameplay > Story/Gameplay > Graphics.

The game looks absolutely fine. Besides, we have no actual confirmation on graphics anyway. Calm down.

720p is not bad on a 720p TV.

The reason 720p is bad for games on TV's that are 1080p are because the consoles fill up the gaps in the image. An upscaled 720p image to 1080p looks so much worse than if it was just on a 720p TV.

720p looks bad compared vs 1080p...does not really look bad at all.

People seem to forget where we have been coming from and how this is only the first year of this gen. Now all of a sudden we have this ridiculous trend of people that judge a game by its resolution and framerates.
