During the last month,i have replayed Ac3,Acr and i have played for the first time Ac1.I am also planning to replay Ac4 and acb, even ac2,which i don't own. But,after all this AC action,i start feeling a little bit bored and i fear that this will influence my ACU experience.
So what are you doing/going to do regarding the following weeks?
Is it better to replay the previous games or not?

I'm thinking of playing AC4, Freedom Cry and the Haytham segment of AC3 before Rogue, that is if I find the time and patience.

I nomrally do an annual playthrough of ACI to the last release, but probably not this year, due to hardware issues.

I plan to replay all of them, including any DLCs I may have missed since I didn't get them last time (e.g. Da Vinci Disappearance, Freedom Cry.)

I usually don't buy DLCs unless they're canon so that's a major set point I consider before buying any.

I'm on a gaming hiatus until the end of October when I have my exams. Then I will play AC:Mordor before I dive into Unity :)!

I replay them often but I bought Bravely Default and I've been strictly playing that. RPG's like that demand your full attention.

I already finished my marathon about two weeks ago. I spread mine out this year and played some other games in between. There were times where I got really bored, but I'm ready for more now.
Oh, and I do this every year. Next year I'll have to start even earlier.

Yep! I replayed AC1 because I never 100% finished the game. It was annoying to do but it's satisfying to know that it's finally complete. All memories fully synced and all achievements!

I already got all of the achievements in AC2 and 100% completed it. HOWEVER. I never got the chance to play the two DLC memory sequences and they're not too expensive and there are side missions like Assassination Contracts and all those to finish so I'll go back and do those given the chance.

I 100% completed Brotherhood but do NOT have all of the achievements because I never played the multiplayer and I don't fancy trying to figure it all out NOW. Same with ACR and 3 -- I'm in the process of 100% completing ACR and I 100% completed AC3 in the main missions -- not sure I wanna bother with the naval missions.

I was hoping to borrow AC4 from a friend but the only person I know who has AC4 has it for the PS3 and that doesn't help me. I don't want to buy it right before ACU as it doesn't interest me other than the story which I may just watch via Youtube.

Only had time to do AC2 and AC:B. Played ACR a few months back and AC4 a month ago. No AC3 and AC1 this year.

Personally, I wouldn't skip AC:3's naval. It was much, much better than AC:IV's, and that also leaves out a few characters like Robert and Biddle.

It's also partially essential to the story, IMO.

I replay them every summer. Playing through Black Flag now. Can't wait for Rogue!

I agree. I especially loved the music too.

And who could forget Faulker. He reminds me so much of Mr. Gibbs.

... I think I can sense it too.

She's probably like "yes, let it consume you." :p

I did that last year. I played every one of the main titles and all their dlcs to 100% synch. Except for AC1... cause F dem flags...

I plan on replaying AC4 again this year, Freedom Cry (for the first time) and Liberation HD (for the first time) in preparation for Rogue. Then I'll play Unity.

Already have...kinda.

Around February I started my replay of the series with AC2 (I skip AC1 because it's terrible) and worked my way up to AC3. Stopped about half way through AC3 because I got bored, eventually got back to it around April and finished it. Didn't want to go on AC4 because I already completed that twice last year within a short space of time (played PS4 and PS3 versions). So yeah...I've replayed everything but AC1 and AC4.

Typically I actually replay the series after playing the new games, I mean I don't need to re-cap the games so I see no reason to play before a new release. Usually the new AC is the first time I've played AC in several months, I fall back in love with series and want to do it all again. So I pop in AC2 a couple days after finishing the latest game and commence my journey.

I haven't played Liberation. I gotta do that one. But the story has little relation to that of Unity sooo.... I might postpone Liberation for another time.

On it as we speak. Over the past 2 weeks I finished AC2 and ACB, currently replaying ACR. I might replay AC3 as well (seeing how its story is kinda connected to Rogue), but with Fifa 15 coming out this week, I'm not sure if I'll get around to it. Not replaying AC1 this year and I finished replaying AC4 just a month ago, so probably won't be replaying that one either.

Nope. My copies of AC2 and AC:B were on xbox 360, which I sold to a friend, and my PS3 is at home. Just as well. 2 jobs + research position + grad school applications + full time undergraduate makes for a busy semester.

I got up to Sibrand's assassination in AC1 a while ago, then stopped. I should go back and finish the game, then maybe move on to ACB. But I don't know if I want to start another playthrough so close to ACU's release.

I want to play the Haytham parts in AC3. I also plan to replay the others sooner or later but not before the new ones come out. I forget about Liberation a lot. It's the one AC game I haven't played.

I would like to say I would but realistically . . . I probably won't. :| I recently did a 100% replay of AC3 a few mos ago. If anything I'll probably replay the Ezio Tril. because there are many things I don't remember. And I don't have AC1 anymore.

I recently replayed AC:B because I bought the dlc. Tried AC3 again as well but for some reason, I always get bored in about 30 minutes with that one and turn it off again.
I'm now planning on not touching another AC again until I've played Unity; which could be pretty hard since I really feel like playing AC4 again!

I started in June. 100% completion in all games and dlc's. Playing AC4 on the new Xbox One I got just for the release of Unity. Now I can't decide which game I am going to play first.

I'm on my ACB playthrough. Im doing it really weird though. I'm only buying spaulders hahaha. Mostly cause they don't obstruct anything. Not buying the crossbow.

Was supposed to play the whole thing with 1 hidden blade but accidently bought it at 2am in the morning :(

I'm not replaying any AC games this year. Too many other games, too little time  BUT I will most likely try to 100% AC:R some weekend before ACU, and I will have to replay AC:B next year, lost all my saves (PC) -_-

Same issue. I've even got two tv's side by side in my living room (my wife and I are both gamers). My plan right now is to take November 11th off for work, go to the midnight release at gamestop, then load up and start rogue while unity installs. Once the install is complete, I'll be broken, unable to decide which controller to pick up, but I'm kinda planning on playing them sort of parallel to each other, where I alternate missions... as I feel like it.

I like to play ACB as a hidden blade/ throwing knives specialist. I actually really love that game, including the crossbow, even if Ezio is super OP. It's still really fun. Games usually aren't about the challenge for me, so much as immersion, world building and narrative.

I never realised this before but ACB is actually packed full of content. There are a bunch of prostitute/theif/Assasination missions. The lairs are great fun and the templar "hunt" things where you kill the MP characters are also quiet fun.

I think the main reason I like them so much is because they have mini cutscenes instead of just a block of text saying "this guy killed a chicken, kill him".
