Regarding Il2HK and HakenCross, I have just had to clean my drive(s) and now have trouble reloading the two programs. With Mudmovers having disappeared, does anyone know from where I can download new copies??

I don't get it. Who/what is il2hk? What does that have to do with a swastika-emblazoned Focke Wulf?

The HakenCross (swastika) was not put onto German planes in IL2 or IL2FB for political correctness reasons (it's also illegal in Germany).

Someone (sorry, can't remember who) made a program called IL2HK that will put the HakenCross onto your planes. You use the IL2HK.exe program to start your IL2.exe or IL2FB.exe programs and the images are stored in a folder in your FB directory called "hakencross". I'm sure the person who wrote the program recently released some new hakencross images with weathering effects over on SimHQ. Go do a search.

Only problem is that HL doesn't want to recognize the IL2HK.exe so you can't use it for online play (although you would be the only one to see the images in any case).

Well, as someone said its a tool to enable the Hakenkreuz on german planes in non-russian versions of Il-2.

I made long a go a script that does exactly that for you. You need a more or less recent version of the Windows Scripting Host. DL that at MicroSoft.

My script is here: http://de.geocities.com/hakencrossde/

Although there are several tools out there that do this by exe or tools that manage that among several other tweaks. Your choice what you use.

Oh: And if you install it and fly online, noone else sees the swastikas, theyre only on your FE.
