Hi all,

I was wondering if there are any devopment updates for BoB. Everytime I look I just see PF updates. Any news, plane lists, or screenshots?

Good question, but I would imagine that with the expected release date of Pacific Fioghters drawing nearer, there would be more interest in the details of that instead.

Heck, I'm still waiting for the flyable B-25 in FB yet. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif

Ok, my mistake. Somehow I thought BoB was due out first. When is the estimated release of PF? Can't wait to wipe the decks while attempting carrier landings. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

PF should be out before Christmas, maybe as soon as Oct. As far as BoB, I would imagine the majority of work being done consists of lines of code, which is pretty boring in screenshot form http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yes, its going to be entertaining watching the slaughter of team mates online as we try to master the Carrier landings, its bad enough now as people scramble to get airborne.
I can see Carriers getting sunk by their own team and pilots and plane counts dropping drastically at the beginning of missions.

I really struggled with CFS2 carrier landings, guess i'm going to have to practice alot before venturing online with PF.

Good point. I never even thought of that. Forced teamwork, and it should only take 2 to 3 years for many to get the hang of that one. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Moving the typical "Keystone Cops" routine at the beginning of most online missions to the deck of an aircraft carrier has been a common topic of discussion amongst some of our squad. I'm interested and excited to see how it plays out.

For the guyz that just takeoff in any direction, I wish them luck with the carriers. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I'm hoping we get to do the "Dolittle" mission. Leaving a carrier in a B-25 should be interesting.

It's a step towards a more full immersion experience ;-)
