HI all

WAs wondering if the P63 Blackwidow and Blackcat?
It wolud be cool to fly the p-63 as most know it was a night fighter very succesful in the Pacific theater, i dont think modeling it would would be hard all that needs is the cockpit of the pilot and the rear class ccanopy of the gunner would love to be flyable. The Blackcat was a PBY CAtalina with the nose fixed with 4-6 .50 cals amd painted black hence name BlackCAt PLs Luither the Blackcat would be easy and would like to have the widow too.

Thanks Phelan

P-63 was the next version of the P-39 Airacobra. You're thinking of the P-61.

The guy who is working on the P40B (PlaneEater) posted a couple of shots of the P61 in VERY early stages. Go check it out on the netwings forums.

I was reading somewhere that the P-61 could outturn a Hellcat. If this baby makes it into PF

The turn performance of the P-61, to my understanding was very heavily dependent on the version.

That was one aircraft that had very significant performance changes across its model number.

On a side note, I'd personally be very interested in seeing the A-26B and C models in game.

yeah what he said! and the

Mosquito...burma bridge busters
A-36/P-51A...more cbi stuff
P39D...port moresby and the canal won't do w/out
Wildcat..its in
Hellcat..its in
Corsair 1A, 1D, 1C and -4..more the merrier
Beaufighter...a must
A-20...for the battle of Bismark Sea
B-25 Gunships...ohh that 75mm cannon http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/icon_twisted.gif
Avenger, Helldiver and Dauntless...bombs away
P-38F or G...for those early days
Spitfire Mk XIV and VIII.... just for the RAAF
PBY...black cats
B-24 liberator...anti shipping at its finest

I'll throw in the Bearcat and Tiger cat just for fun

Now I'm not even going into the Japanese side of things... I hope the 40 aircraft mentioned are 40 new aircraft, not imported ones from FB cause that'll knock the new aircraft list to less than 20 probably and if Oleg counts versions of the F4U as different aircraft then 20 becomes maybe 10...

Can't wait to see that flyable list, but it'll kill me to wait until this fall...maybe x-mas even. Don't forget those essential Jap floatplanes...especially the Rufe for Guadalcanal
