Greetings, beloved community.

I am thinking of writing an article about Assassin's Creed Easter Eggs and it would be awesome if you helped me out in that effort.

So:

Assassin's Creed games' Easter Eggs:
- The giant squid from AC2 and AC4
- The Sasquatch and Headless Horseman Easter Eggs from AC3
- The assassin-chicken Easter Egg from AC3
- The reference to BLUME from the hacked computer in AC4
- "It's a-me! Mario!"
- Maciavelli: "I might write a book about you". Ezio: "Do it, but keep it short". <== Reference to the short book Maciavelli wrote, titled, "The Prince".

Other games' reffering to AC:
- The dead guy in white we find lying by a haystack in Witcher 2
- All of the Watch Dogs Easter Eggs
- The "Zephyr's Faith" achievement from Guild Wars 2, which tasks you with climbing to the top of a bulding and landing on the haystack below it

Please, feel free to add any Easter Eggs you remember and also post a video or a picture of them. Each and every one that contributes will be cited in a "Special Thanks" part of the article, which will be in English (the rest of the article will be in Greek).

In Skyrim you had to make the leap of faith in one side mission

Oh, that's right, I had forgotten that. Thanks.

The Sasquatch and Headless Horseman hardly count as Easter eggs, they're actual missions referencing popular American myths and Connor deliberately set out to find the truth behind them. An Easter egg is something that is hidden or not well known.

More AC Easter eggs:

-Apart from the Machiavelli dialogue, there's also an achievement in ACB called "Il Principe" (The Prince)
-It's an assassin turkey in AC3, not a chicken
-In ACB, during the modern day segments you can see Lucy playing Project Legacy on her computer

Other games:

-In Dead Island, there's a legendary weapon called Assassin's Greed (http://deadisland.wikia.com/wiki/Assassin%27s_Greed) (looks a lot like Alta´r's short blade)
-In GTA IV there's also an achievement called Assassin's Greed
-Hitman Absolution:

Note the eagle sound when the target falls. :)

The flying machine in AC3.

Not really an Easter egg, but there's a trophy/achievement you can unlock in GTA 4 titled "Assassin's Greed". EDIT: beaten.

Not 100% confirmed, but supposedly the guy Aiden Pearce kills in this Watch Dogs video is Desmond:

Desmond in ZombiU. (http://twitpic.com/9tod80) Confirmed by one of the ZombiU developers, I think, though I can't find the source right now. (They just used his character model as a placeholder.)

Are the 'Assassin's Greed' references digs at the series?

Nah, in GTA 4 the name fits within the context of the missions, you unlock the trophy by completing a set of assassination contracts for which you're payed handsomely.

Probably not, but if the shoe fits... :p

-In AC1, some balconies are shaped like Optimus Prime from Transformers:

Just remembered, in AC4 you can turn enemies into those weird rabbits from Ubi's gimmicky interactive movie thing.

As SixKeys said there is an Altair costume in Metal Gear Solid 4, Ubisoft returned the favor by putting a Raiden costume in ACB
There is also a special cardboard box called the Assassin's Straw Box in MGS Peace Walker which you unlock by doing a leap of faith into it from the building next to it, once unlocked it allows you to pull enemies into it to knock them unconscious

There's also an easter egg in The Witcher 2, where one of dead bodies found lying by the haystacks wore a robe similar to that of Altair.

There was a Castello Crasher mission in ACB.

"What we have here is a failure to communicate" is said in AC3 and AC4.

Laundry is arranged as the french flag on EVERY SINGLE clothesline in the game. How did we not predict Unity? (>_<)

There's a swamp whale in ACL.

One of the missions in AC4 was named Papers, Please. I found this one myself.

Many AC related items are in AC4.

Forgot this one:

ACB has another reference to Metal Gear Solid. In the scene where Ezio reunites with Leonardo, Ezio hears a whisper calling to him but can't locate the source. He notices a modern-looking cardboard box and looks at it inquisitively before Leonardo appears. This is a reference to Solid Snake using cardboard boxes as hiding places.

Thanks for all the suggestions, people. These will be more than enough to fill a really long article. I will let you know, once I have finished writing it.

Sychologist Carl Jung was referenced throughout the Assassin's Creed series:

The Animus was named for Jung's anima and animus.

Women in the series such as Eve, Maria Thorpe, Maria Auditore da Firenze and Sofia Sartor (mostly wives of the male Assassins) shared their names with stages of anima development, a male's inner feminine personality.

Furthermore, in the Abstergo Files, it was stated that Abstergo believed their research would put an end to the debate over the existence of Jung's collective unconsciousness.
