According to http://assassinscreed.ubi.com/en-GB/home/index.aspx - AC Unity AND Rogue will now release on the 14th November, instead of the 13th.

If I'm honest, this makes more sense as the 14th is a Friday, a day which games in Europe are normally released.

But it still sucks.

Edit: Seems like its confirmed, the following websites say November 14th

http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps4/772633-assassins-creed-unity/data
http://juggmentworld.net/assassins-creed-unity-full-review/

and most importantly, Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/UBI-Soft-Assassins-Creed-Unity/dp/B00I9WW7HK

Edit 2: Seems like Rogue is now also delayed to Friday

I don't care, I'll still get it on the 12th at the latest, as usual

I don't know. Usually here in Belgium there are different release dates, meaning there is no specific day. However it might be a little bit symbolic to release on the 14th doesn't it? I bet we get to see the storming of the bastille somewhere in the beginning of Unity or it might be because "the 14th" was the start of french revolution.

Seems like it is legit, Amazon say 14th November as well

According to the uplay store it's still 13 november.

The dutch AC site still says 13 also. Maybe it's only for the UK?

Yeah games typically launch over here in the UK on Friday. Usually other places in the EU get it a day or two earlier or on the same day as the UK.

I think I'll survive.

Not getting it on release this year anyway since I've took a stance against pre-orders and I'd be too lazy to get my arse down to the game store even if reception is good.

Maybe it is just the UK then?

Either way, the Ubishop always sends out the stuff stupidly early so it doesnt matter much to me. I just found it funny how they delayed it one more day for the UK.

Actually, it seems like it could just be the UK... Not really too sure yet since this was just stumbled on and we have had no official word statement.

I believe this is the case. If I remember correctly the initial reports from the AC twitters/social media said 13th (For EU) then the ACUK twitter clarified it was the 14th for the UK. As you said, they trend to send out the games fairly early, so I don't really care. :S

In France it doesn't really matter anyway since street date will be broken like it's always been, I got Black Flag almost a week early.

I've checked all the other European countries and they all still have 13 november. Maybe they haven't changed it yet, or the release date has only been changed for the UK.

Yeah I think that's the case. Think this happened with Revelations to a certain extent but most places broke street date. Even in the UK. I got my copy 4 days early. :)

That's supposed to happen. The games shipped before the console launch to make sure people actually had games to play when the console came

I contacted ubisoft and it had something to do with the release of the xbone version.

Well in the UK, the games come out before the console, it happens every console cycle. Its to make sure people get the game. For example, all the PS4's going out at the same time, as well as games, could have the PS4 priortised. That way the customer gets the console but no game.

Having the games arrive 2 weeks earlier/ earlier than when the console comes out is standard

PC usually has it a week or two earlier so I'm not too distressed.

Already paid over 200$ on the game so no guilt here.
