Hi Chaps,

I've just bought an ATI Radeon 9800 pro GFX card, going to collect it now, in fact http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I read on one of the posts here that the previous version of the catalyst driver was better than the current one for running FB. Is this so? And if so, could someone kindly put up a link so I can download it?

I suspect that once a new version of the driver is released, the old one becomes unobtainable from the offical source. That's if nVidia is anything to go by.

Many thanks if you are able to help.

Those 9800 screen shots by Tsisqua already have me drooling in anticipation! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Gibbs

If I had all the money I'd spent on drink..I'd spend it on drink!

ATI doesn't hide old drivers...which is great. So no worries about getting them.

I use 4.1's and I'm staying there for a while. They work magnificently!

i have a 9800pro as well and now im using cat 4.2 they work best for me in perfect mode
the 4.1 and 3.7s are good too but if you want to play on perfect mode stay away from the new 4.3s just go for the 4.1 ore 4.2 and you will be fine

go here to get um http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html

4.2 is better for perfect. 4.3 is better for anything else. All previously released drivers can be found on both nvidia and ati sites.
