gameinformer says that Elise is more skilled with the sword then Arno

Might have been outnumbered by a significant amount or caught off guard.

Simple as that.

Dramatic trailer setup is dramatic.

Maybe she was set-up or maybe she was just caught in a bad situation.

It's because she's a woman.

It's because she's a woman.

... And the feminists have come to attack you

But seriously, maybe she was outnumbered or something. You never know :p

And....

Welcome back, Radman!

She's insane and put herself in harms way to see if Arno would rescue her and thus prove his love for her.

lol, just because she's more skilled with a sword than Arno doesn't mean she's invincible.

Meh!!!!

With the exception of ACR´s, the stuff seing at the trailers is just dramatic set up.....

I'd take that sword comment with a grain of salt to be honest. Arno could probably overpower her fairly easily.

Besides, it doesn't change that (a) she's hopelessly out numbered (b) she's about to be beheaded.

Maybe she's trained with the sword but not a pugilist? In the time that she tries to grab one of the guards' sword she probably would've been cut down. I guess it's also worth wondering why the other Templars didn't try to rescue her? Hopefully this is like the ACR trailer and they haven't shown everything yet. :O

Perhaps she thought that counter kills were still a thing and tried to be a smart*** with some guards and they kicked her *** before she could even say "pardon!"

But a dev said it, it must be true.

She was doing her nails and didn't want to ruin the nail polis by grabing a sword..

Maybe she was setup by the new Templars within the order?

I'm surprised they went with Elise being rescued for the trailer, to be honest. Many members of the media and activists might find it offensive.

Seriously Radman, why do you think? He isn't going to rescue a Templar without reason. He obviously loves her. Your constant need to create pointless threads is getting really irritating. I wish there was a limit to how many threads you could create because you have probably created the most on here.

She could've been wrongfully accused of treason, therefore he is rescuing her. I also agree with JayJay, I think he is in love with her too.

From what I understand there's a bit of a revolution/civil war going on within the Templar Order itself in this game, and Elise (and her father, apparently) were part of the old guard. I wouldn't be surprised if Elise defects TBH.

Let alone the fact that she was tied up and outnumbered.

maybe she used some party drug late night and the guards found her naked on the streets lol.
