EDIT: I did not copy and pasted the info, because it would not be fair not to visit the facebook page that provided it (Access The Animus).

EDIT #2: SPOILERS, If you want to avoid the spoilers, avoid reading points 4 and 6.

I'm intruiged if they'll include the guy yelling out "Jacques De Molay you have been avenged". When the first guy got killed in the Reign of Terror. Whilst it isn't even 100% comfirmed that it happened it's generally belived it did.

We haven't had real Templar events intergrated since AC1 (for obvious reasons) so they have to include this one.

To clarify Messer De Molay was the last Templar grandmaster in real life, he was burned at the stake in 1312.

That's some seriously spoilery stuff right there, stopped reading at just the right point to prevent a significant plot-line being almost completely ruined for me. Crisis narrowly averted.

Why is there no thread discussing this video from GI?

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2014/08/08/the-new-gameplay-of-assassins-creed-unity.aspx

Saw this in Neogaf.. It is awesome. If there is a thread, kindly direct me to it.

Why should any of this info be considered a 'spoiler'?

The stuff about Elise definitely being Arno’s love interest and the tidbits about story with the internal struggle within the Templars, i guess

Yeah, but the first is common knowledge at this point, and the second contains no specifics.

Now, if they actually had said,

...and this is when the Templar order starts to operate under Abstergo businesses

*that* would have been a huge spoiler. Though, from what Amancio said, something of this sort could be inferred, perhaps......

The Templar order becomes Abstergo in the early 1900s, that's been confirmed for a while now.

Yeah, it was 1936 if I remember correctly.

(I would actually love a game based on that to be honest)

Assassin's Creed Business Manager

XD

No, not like that, though that would be pretty innovative, i'll say.
