I walked to my front door, and took it from the UPS guy. I'd say it was a 20 ft trip from my computer.

I called every EB and Gamestop around me for the last 4 days and i could tell they remembered me each time I called...

EB finally got it in today and we spent an hour trying to figure out where it was (its a new store)....

5 miles, but in rush hour traffic in Houston on a particularly bad road. Took 10 minutes to get there, 1 hour to get back.

I ordered it online yesterday evening, and had it today! I couldn't believe how fast it got here! (I just picked std shipping).

Installed and worked perfectly from the start...

I went about 5 miles to the local Electronics Botique and grabbed one of seven copies. I took my sportbike because I had to get there in a hurry. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

This is way off topic, but what kind of bike to you ride? I also ride, and I think it's great to meet fellow riders. I have a 2003 Suzuki SV650S. This is way off topic, but i was just wondering...

How far did I have to go!

I had to sleep with the fat twins who are 68 years old. They had the only copy in the village. It was a high price to pay.

Europeans don´t need to go anywhere to get AEP...
they have just to sit in front of their PC and let them "run" for you... and it seem UBI is very resistant against learning something.

Just drive to the next shop is much shorter and easier than watching bit for bit is coming to you... this took hours/days.

Maybe some guys will go to a shop in 2 weeks and buy a legal version... a lot will not do this.
Real funny to see Ubi making the same mistakes again and again! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I stopped by EB near my house on the way home on the 3rd. They got shipped 1 copy and sold it in the afternoon. The next day while I was driving back to my work from the lake where I play hooky and fish for bass, I saw a new EB store. I did a U turn in the middle of the road, burned rubber in my Mustang across the parking lot http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif and they had not sold their 1 copy yet. I bought it. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

That means I went about 100 yards out of my way and got it at noon on the 4th.

Not very, but I went to three places before I found it: BestBuy was supposed to get them in the day I was there, but they didn't have any. Across the street at the mall, Gamestop wasn't getting them till Tuesday ("would you like to hold one?" "Hell no."). Then down the street to CompUSA, which did have them (all though it took me a while to find it).

I am VERY pleased with it.

Last night, I tried two Best Buys, then Frys' and CompUSA, all more than ten miles from my place, and then checked the Yellow Pages for the nearest EB this morning. It was a 4 mile round trip. I could just sh!t.

cheers

well our best buy is so incompitant. they didnt have it in stock didnt even have a listing in thier computer. and of course the whole time the guy is telling me ... " yea we dont do much flight simulation games anymore not really much of a market for them." you old crotchidy flight sim wannabe implied. So i looked at their sim section. So i replied "Well its the best flight sim on the market much better than this history channel flight sim and cfs 3 that was on thier shelf. You little smart *** know nothing Implied. LOL
thats why i had to go 150 miles round trip.
to get it....
