My saitek x-45 has been behaving for almost 3 mos. and now it quit working.

my x,y, and z axis are getting mixed and multiple inputs...so if I hit my left rudder, I roll to the right...if I roll to the left I get left rudder etc...

I have reinstalled and all sorts of other things like reconfiguring/ recalibrating/ downloading new drivers etc....Frankly, I think the thing is fried but I figured I'd ask if anyone has had similar problems and/or knows some fixes

bye the way I'm running Windows Me and have had no problems what-so-ever since I bought the thing.

Sounds like it's fried, but post your problems at Saitek's support forums and at SimHQ Saitek Help Forum (http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/boards/bbs/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum;f=79) just in case someone has a solution.

Yep, sounds fried to me as well. If you have no other USB items acting up, then I would bet it is fried. I have had mine for 2 years with no problems at all. At 3 months, there has to be an IC that has become defective. I bet Saitek will replace it for you if you ask them. (Well as long as you havent done any modifications to it like I did.. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif)

Fehler, that chair looks real uncomfortable, for serious online gaming i would suggest the following modifications to it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif hehehehehehe

I like the idea of that chair.......... well not necessarily taylor tony's chair.....LOL.... but if I made one I'd want the flight yoke between my legs. They do call it a joystick for a reason.

It' like a car wreck I can't stop staring at Tony's pic...... HOLE OR STAIN ... HOLE OR STAIN.... I'm not sure I wanna know http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

ROFLMAO!

Hole or Stain.... I am hoping hole!

Yes, I have a set of gameport CH Pro peddels wired in, replacing the rocker switch.

Everything unplugs really fast for easy storage. (In case you have an important guest over for something and you really dont want them to know you are a ****** 40 something guy that still plays video games because they would never understand the sheer enjoyment and enlightenment of a great flight sim because they are closed minded and obsessed with making money instead of actually enjoying life and everyone they know realizes it but they are too self-absorbed to see the forest from the trees.) <<<<< Run-on sentence intentional..
