Dear all,

For the last couple of months I have been in contact with the Tuskegee Airmen's Association. They have been extremely helpfull in answer to my request for pictures of these brave airmen and I am close to obtaining more pictures for a new pilot's pack.

Allthough I never have, and never will make any charge for my artwork, it's something that I love doing and this is a great community here's a small proposition.

I would like to setup a "Paypal" or similar type account and invite my visitors to make a small "token" contribution to the Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship Foundation when I complete and make the pack available for download.

I will publish more details as soon as I've commenced work on the pack. Please post to this thread your views on this project so that I can provide feedback in my correspondence to the Tuskegee Airmen's Association.

Best Regards

Aces

Bavaria is one of the oldest European states.
It dates back to about 500 A.D., when the Roman Empire was overcome by the onslaught of Germanic tribes. According to a widespread theory, the Bavarian tribe had descended from the Romans who remained in the country, the original Celtic population and the Germanic invaders.

This is a very good idea, especially when the money goes into education. Can't wait to see your new pack.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your comments, I'm delighted to hear that they use fund raising revenue for scholarships. It seems such an appropriate idea that the memory of these courageous men and what they endured should premote such a worthwhile cause.

I wish to note I made no mention of "fund raising" in my original correspondence, only my love of aviation and my search for pilots pictures to produce a pack for IL2 FB. The fantastic assistance that they have provided has been extremely generous and free of self-interest.

An excellent idea Aces. Though I'm no expert, I think a Paypal account as you mention is easy and safe to set up and use, and all for a very good cause.

"The Eyeties are comparatively easy to shoot down. Oh, they're brave enough. In fact, I think the Eyeties have more courage than the Germans, but their tactics aren't so good. They are very good gliders, but they try to do clever acrobatics and looping. But they will stick it even if things are going against them, where as the Jerries will run." Beurling in Malta Spitfire
