Hey fellers,

I'm going to visit Venice next week, so I come to you for guidance.
Which iconic AC(2) landmarks should I visit while I'm there?
Maybe someone has a full tourguide that's AC related?

St. Mark's Square is an absolute must, you'll recognize it instantly if you're an AC2 fan. It's also like the main tourist attraction in Venice, so it'll be hard to miss :) Other than that, I'm not really sure which of the AC2 landmarks are still standing today, so I can't be of much help beyond that.

I highly recommend visiting the Palazzo Ducale if possible, it's amazing to roam its halls and large rooms! :)

San Marco Square and the Rialto Bridge are definitely worth visiting as well.

Aside from those places, just roam the city for a while. You'll surely find plenty of other beautiful places :D

So far I have this route planned:
https://www.google.com/maps/dir/45.4381531,12.3181277/45.4371676,12.327134/San+Giacomo+di+Rialto/Museo+di+Palazzo+Ducale/San+Zaccaria/Scuola+Grande+di+San+Marco/@45.4364953,12.3222006,3097m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m28!4m27!1m0!1m0!1m5!1m1!1s0x0: 0xb52f17f104c859bf!2m2!1d12.335497!2d45.438515!1m5 !1m1!1s0x0:0xab2c43e44345b6d7!2m2!1d12.340444!2d45 .433692!1m5!1m1!1s0x0:0x6b76a17171cbaa!2m2!1d12.34 3471!2d45.434779!1m5!1m1!1s0x0:0xcce097b2699d0db8! 2m2!1d12.341394!2d45.439606!3e2

It has the Frari church, rialto bridge and St. Marco square on there.
Anyone else got any more suggestions?

I second the above with the glass artists. I actually got one in my house. Best part of Venice is being made to walk on planks while the city floods LOL.

EDIT: If you want I can take a pic and show ya.

Gondola tour. Get one of the good ones.

They do tours up the Torre dell'Orologio, as well as all the other stuff in Piazza San Marco (Campanile di San Marco, Basilica di San Marco, Palazzo Ducale di Venezia, etc).

Some good museums and smaller churches too numerous to list here as well.

I should warn you the Basilica gets silly crazy in the season, timed entry and everything.

It's a small patch of woods next to a very large lake. I live in a piece of **** two bedroom apartment. Your welcome to it. By the way the state I live in is 90% wooded.

That's a better deal than the apartments here... maybe unless you're paying like 1600 a month lol.

I used to live in the woods... till a bunch of asshats moved here.

I hate my state, I hop to move out of it soon.

Depends how long you're going for. If it's a long weekend, I'd recommend just wandering the streets and getting lost - it's the best way to explore and see a city. Of course visit the tourist sites as well, but just be aware of how many other tourists there will be as well. In my experience, it's better to simply sit at a quiet cafe and just people-watch and take in the air instead of rushing around every single tourist attraction which will inevitably be filled with people/cost a lot/ have to queue for hours.

Oh hell yeah. I had, like a day - if you got more, just wander...

I'm jealous. Someday I will start a Assassin's tour services (Tourist's Creed?) to visit all the landmarks from the games. I haven't been to Venice, but everyone has mentioned most of the sites I can think of. Is a visit to the Arsenal worthwhile? It appears to be not too far from Piazza San Marco.

If you're feeling athletic, you should explore the hidden tombs beneath the Basilica San Marco and Santa Maria della Visitazione. And perhaps the Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, where Ezio learned to climb walls.

Have fun! And post pics!

And I don't think you can actually go in the arsenal but perhaps i can look at the gate or something?
