I've been playing Assassin's Creed since the first game, and since then it's been my favorite game. I've been playing them on an Xbox 360 but since AC Unity is only going to be on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, I can only play it if I play it on PC since I don't want to buy an Xbox One or PS4. I'm not quite sure if I need to upgrade my computer though.

So I heard that if I can run AC4BF then I can probably run AC Unity. My specs are:
CPU: AMD FX 4130 3.8 GHz
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6450 1 GB
RAM: 8 GB
Screen resolution: 1280x1080

I know that my graphics card is the weakest link in all of this, so if I can't run AC4BF/AC Unity, what graphics card should I get?

I've written 'fine' for the stuff you don't need to bother changing. If I've written something else then that's the component I recommend you upgrade to.

CPU: AMD FX 6300
Graphics Card: Radeon HD 7870
RAM: fine
Resolution: fine

If you upgraded your CPU/GPU to the ones I've written above then you'd have plenty of power, especially for the resolution you're playing at. A HD 7870 sells for around the 100 mark & the FX 6300 goes for around 80.

How about an AMD Radeon R5 230? Would that suffice?

Dont ever recommend AMD for Ubi games. Just read old AC3 and AC4 threads.
If your're on a budget buy PS4. Otherwise get Haswell i5/i7 with GTX 760/770/780

Also - I wouldn't suggest ANY upgrades, until we have the official requirements to share..
