Is it confirmed that Arno is the name of the new character or is it Arnaud (true French name)?

Arno is the name of the river in Florence which Lorenzo de Medici mentions in Assassin's Creed 2 that he fell into as a child. He was rescued by Giovanni Auditore. "Thus began a long and prosperous friendship between two families."

Arno is the german derivative from the french Arnaud! He was born from a french father and an austrian mother, hence his name.

They both sound the same - and they both sound silly.

They should have called him Jean Paul Gusteau.

I thought the German derivative of Arnaud was Arnold.
