BEARCAT, can you edit that "string" or "o" characters and put spaces in it?

As a single string, it corrupts the thread. Thanks Bear.

look at all those lovely clouds on the cover-pity we only get a fraction of them!
I want more clouds-never mind the spitfire-give us more clouds, even clouds at different altitudes would be good.I dont mean to harp on about clouds but I do feel that the role of the weather in fb is underused.
Also, can you change the weather pattern during a mission,ie,from a glorious day to heavy thunder etc?

7 age rating?

I know Oleg wants to make money, but come on? It`s getting like the cinema ratings. I once saw a film with 15PG- 15PG? So you`ve got to be 15, but not if your parent goes with you? What next 18/PG? XXX/PG?

Even UT2003, Medieval total War and a dozen other games (many arcady FPS`) get a much higher rating than this!

It makes it look like a children`s game!

No blood, swearing, or death animations, but... Sigh... Let`s hope the simulation remains a SIMULATION of WAR in the Air!

Oh, yea and while I`m at it, IL2/FB has an 11 rating. So you can buy the ADD-ON if you`re 7, but can`t actually play it till for FOUR years! Hmmmm...

Oh, never mind....

SeaFireLIV...

Actually, a Swedish pilot accidentally shot himself down when flying the Mustang during a strafing run. A bullet ricocheted(spelling?) from the target and struk his engine causing engine failure. Sad, but true I'm afraid. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

it should be mostly the bottom of the engine prone to hits to ruin the liquid cooling system, any inline engine was just as weak, radials were much stronger and could take more damage because of the aircooling. Theres a couple cases of p47s taking direct flak hits from 88s at low level directly in the engine blowing out 6-12 cylinders and being able to rtb.

all inlines should be just as weak like the stang not specifically the mustang, just because the US airforce keeps records of design flaws. So did the germans, british, aussies and italians but not the russians or japanese. You died or were imprisioned. I hope it gets looked at even the p47s engines die from one hit usually

the ju88 has inline engines just the radiator is round and makes it look like a radial

Hey! Just wanted to let you know that I met a man yesterday who knew that pilot. He told me about one of his friends who flew the J26, he got struck in the radiator while strafing and the engine quit. The pilot died, since he was flying too low to bail out... It has to be this guy, since I doubt it happened more than once.
