Yesterday I discovered that outer MGFF 20mm cannons on the U17 configuration were removed. I think that should be there but I'm not sure.
Salute!

Sorry, Wrong...the problem is that real U17 HAD MGFF removed, but in the briefing, when you select airplane configuration, you can see that the image HAS those cannons.

Also when you have MGFF removed you have the bombrack. If its speed reducement and additional weight is modeled you can try.

Handling of the 190A's without outer wing-cannons or even with reduced MG17 and 2x MG FF is farr worse than the original one (FW190A default guns), not talking about worse speed and climb.

Isn't that just when the wing racks are fitted, too?

I'm a cr@ppy pilot anyway, but it seems to make more of a differnence then going from clean to the centerline rack?

No. Any time the wing cannons are removed in FB, the turn performance and maximum speed are decreased to the point where removing the outer cannons is useless.

Russian aircraft require skill to fly.
German aircraft require ten times that skill, and one hundred times the patience!

problem is, u will get the Bombrack everytime u remove the outer cannons.

but the canons decrease speed by ~ 10km/h (at least for A9!) and Rack does the Same.

but if you could have A4 / 5 / 6 without outer canons and without the f*ck*** Bombrack you would have a fairly nice firepower and would be a bit faster than with full guns.

Thx for the explanation: I mostly fly JaBo with wing racks as well. Going back to just the centerline one seems to make things much better, haven't flown it *clean* in a while so I eventually get used to bomb-rack performance.

Did some testing and it does make a difference indeed...
