I'll join you on Jerusalem, frodrigues :)

I don't know why I never really liked it that much, I don't think it's because of the filter. After seeing both Damascus and Acre, didn't feel like Jerusalem had anything to show for it, plus I think it's got my least favourite ambiance. Not to mention my least favorite assassinations, to be honest. Talal, Majd Addin and Robert Decoy are all on the lower list of my favourite AC1 assassinations.

I like Jerusalem for the city type and architecture. And with that I don't mind the filter.

Venice, I want this city out.

I voted for havana... before I actually start playing I think we have to get rid of the cities from AC3 and AC4... tbh havana is great but CoMPared to those others it's just not good... and how can you vote for Venice... Venice is absolutely AMAZING!!!

I voted for Venice. It's just the most overrated city in the series to me. Everyone seems to just remember it through rose colored glasses(or rather turquoise in Venice's case). Damascus is really overrated too IMO. The whole city is just one big blob of brown and tan and it has the same cookie cutter copy and paste "atmosphere" as all of AC1s cities(except for Acre where they put that same cut and paste dialogue and added a British or German accent). Idk why people hate on Jerusalem so much it's the only AC1 city with any color granted there's a ****ty filter. But the other 2 cities are a wash out of brown and tan or blue and grey.

Done a very rexent play through of ac2, and Venice was as nice as i remember, so no rose tinted glasses here. Jerusalem was a bit of a sh1t hole to be honest, so i will support that cause.

Venice and that annoying filter has to go. NAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like Jerusalem, the green filter truly creates a very calming "holy" atmosphere, the only one I really enjoy.

I didn't, but about two weeks ago i was watching someone else play it (my mother believe it or not, she was playing when i took my youngest son to see his grandparents). I saw a bit of Damas and Jerusalem...... I don't hate Jerusalem, but it's probably my least fave of the remaining ones.

It was a close contest between Jerusalem and Venice, but I voted for Jerusalem. Most of my favorite areas are already eliminated, so I'm really hoping for Florence, Damascus (even though Acre was my favorite from AC1), Havana or Constantinople. Mostly Florence though.

Each to his taste...
Though as Megas said, the filter is to add some "Holy" atmosphere to it generally, it's also pretty nice in one of the districts. Not to mention the welcoming feel of the entrance was something I really liked visiting the city.

Yeah, it's harder to chose now that only good ones are left. I am surprised that Venice is receiving more votes, but like you say, each to their tastes. I think Florence or Constantinople will win anyway.

Havana because it's small and I never really felt the vibe.

I don't understand all the Jerusalem hate - it's beautifully rendered with a fantastic soundtrack and iconic landmarks (more so than Damascus or Acre in my opinion). It seems it's just because it's third on the list of cities that Altair visits. If Damascus had been last, I wonder if it would have been just as neglected.

I understand the reasons behind the filters, thing is that I find most of them plain annoying haha. I know is easy to criticize, but considering that since Acre had a whole different style from the other two locations, its filter was not necessary, same for Venice, for instance.

However, I do like the one used in Jerusalem because of two reasons: The architecture there was portrayed as a halfway point between Damascus and Acre, thus having it to stand out was a must, and because it looks very cool haha.

Filters are kind of annoying because all you see is one general color. But they're best only in interiors, which seems to be still used. But Jerusalem to me had a fitting one.

Yeah, something about Damascus and Acre got my attention. For Jerusalem, nothing there felt special or unique to me. And that filter just helped making it less appealing to me. I don't know about other platforms, but on my PC the filters made the graphic look so dated - like even AA suffered with it. In fact, only Damascus seem to make my PC justice, which was really odd. The thing is - even if I didn't like the filters, Acre has managed to capture me with its amazing atmosphere.

Someone mentioned that the fact that you play Jerusalem last might be why so many people dislike it - I don't know about the other, but that really isn't the case for me. You go back to the cities multiple times throughout the game, most of them in any order you like. Going back to Acre and Damascus is always a joy for me. Jerusalem - not so much.

Okey dokey!

Go us

I guess it's all those damn canals!

To be honest, that's what bugged me about Venice :nonchalance: I hated freerunning with those canals breaking my way.

Seriously, me and my mam own all the games between us, lending and borrowing from each other as the fancy takes us. It was my turn to get AC4 so she will probably get the next one, although i am aiming to have a ps4 by then, and she might still have the ps3, so our arrangement may not work :D

I'm really curious to see if Venice will be left in the Top 3. Honestly, I'll be surprised if it is. But I'm not sure if it will get voted out next round even though it's on 2nd place now, we don't know how many Jerusalem voters are going to transfer to Venice.
